Angelina Jolie Hits 2009 Critics’ Choice Awards

Looking ever the Hollywood couple, Angelina Jolie and longtime love Brad Pitt heat up the red carpet at VH1’s 2009 Critics’ Choice Awards held at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium on January 8 (Thursday) in Santa Monica, Calif.

If you use this info, please credit JustJared.com: The regal-looking Angie wore a gorgeous asymmetrical Max Azria dress. She finished off her look with matching Stuart Weitzman shoes, Mikimoto jewels and a Herve Leger clutch. Brad looked dapper as always in a Tom Ford suit.

Angie’s Changeling is up for the noms while Brad’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is up for eight.

UPDATE: Angie had tears in her eyes when the late Heath Ledger won for Best Supporting Actor for The Dark Knight. She and Brad were also seen leaving their table to greet Changeling director Clint Eastwood and his wife Dina at their own table.

I agree that they’re a hot couple, but they’re kinda of an “old” hot couple. They both really do look so old for their age! Regardless, they’re both good-looking, in a plastic-y kinda way…

Does anybody get the vibe from them that the chemistry/dynamic has changed? It’s almost like they’re acting at being together. There is something sad about the both of them…I hope not, that would be so sad for their kids..

I’m glad she’s wearing something besides black but it looks like they didn’t have time to attach the right sleeve on the dress. And the left side of her dress makes it look like something one on the “Golden Girls” would wear. I would think from her personality that she would pick more interesting, fun, daring things to wear not boring old women clothes.

I love to see the two of them on the red carpet together, you can tell that they care for one another very much…

Now for the bad: I do not care for what Angie is wearing, the dress and the hair is very PLAIN and she is usually spot on… Her make up is flawless, just wish she had picked out a better outfit…

Angie really does look breathtaking. Her dress is unusual, but she pulls it off. And with barely any makeup.

So funny to hear the haters’ heads exploding. I can just imagine them typing their venom as fast as they can … can’t even make up their minds if they should write “old” or “plastic-y and botoxed.” If they had been botoxed, then they wouldn’t look old, would they? I guess logical thinking is not the fanistons’ strong suit.
