Angelina Jolie Hits 2009 Critics’ Choice Awards

Damn shame when a woman can’t have flawless skin without hens going in a decline. Whiny X is on her 3rd face overhaul and hens are still not happy. They got to whine over the beautiful Jolie. Stay out the sun, stop the around the clock suntanning and smoking hens, and ole girl would not look like a crater on Mars.

Anne doesn’t have to do anything to deserve that, she just has to be any actress so-called competing against Angelina Jolie and she’ll receive a wealth of treasures and good wishes by being the foil of the evil humanitarian seductress.

Better still when your high-powered PR agent is Stephen Huvane who will be doing what he can to smear Angelina in the media (this IS a guy who e-mails Perez Hilton — I mean really people, do you think a guy that stoops to beging Perez to ’stop being mean,’ doesn’t also have other blogs and entertainment news folk on speed dial & IM to spread his viciousness, come on - lolol ). The man will be working his ass off to get Anne (and vicariously thru her, his bestest most favorite washed up TV hack favorite client currently playing 4th banana in a holiday dog movie, Jen Aniston) to conquer.

In Stephen’s perfect world, Angelina is once again knocked from her slot by bitchy Academy voters who don’t want to vote for the new ‘mean girl,’ in town Angelina…

…and in his most perfect and wonderful world, Brad is knocked out too (who cares if we get another lowest rated Miley Cyrus Oscar ceremony, it will save his client from a nervous breakdown, both of them) - but that’s asking a bit too much.

Better the beat up Angelina has to be dragged to the Oscars to support her man, where she can try to convince us she’s really happy for him, as she struggles to hide her disappointment.

Oh she will be happy for him, and maybe she will be disappointed, but on a scale of 1 to 10, where other actresses disappointment would be 10+, hers will be -3.

But the haters will take it, and make it her comeuppance - the only thing is when you’re that beautiful, a previous Oscar winner, a Global Humanitarian, are loved by Brad Pitt and mother to his children, there is no comeuppance Angelina can ever have that can make up for that.

Which is why some women, and vindictive gay men best pals of some women, will pretty well hate her til she dies.

I hope Angelina doesn’t find out that Hathaway has already won the Golden Globe. She may not show up and I would love to see a repeat of last night.

well, if she is not going to show up i am sure the rest of the nominees that lost to meryl and anne will not eiter.

You may love them or hate them but everybody certainly talks about them. They are the most talked about couple and the most admired right under Oprah. They certainly are a power couple. Yes I wished they would have won another award, but regardless of another award on their mantle they are still number one to me.

I would say that Cate Blanchett is overrated. Remember that movie that they were both in Pushing Tin. Guess who no one remembers being in that movie…that’s right Cate Blanchett. Guess WHO everyone remembers being in that movie….THE JOLIE. I know it just a little movie, but the fact that she was such a force in that movie should speak volumes. Angelina is not overrated, people who say that are just jealous of her….Like I’ve been saying over and over again Cate only gets nominated now because people were so pissed about her losing to putrid…Speaking of putrid, now that sh*t is overrated.

Perez has a clip of the CCA on his blog. Angelina was gracious, she listened and then clapped at the end. I don’t see any jealousy, envy or hate on her face. It’s just her usual expression when she isn’t talking to somebody. But people with agendas just want to see drama where there is none to serve their purpose. There are a lot of money at stake, I can understand.

Yep but BP and AJ will still steal the show, be the talk of the town, the toast of the golden globes, the ones to watch, the ones everyone flock to, the 24 hour analysis of their every move and gestures, the report back about love at the table, the in depth study of AJ every facial muscles. The object of envy of the hens.

It’s a train wreck, sweetie. Everybody just love to watch a train wreck. I’m just waiting for the body count.

I don’t care what anyone says Angie is a great actress. Her only problem as someone pointed out is that writers in HW don’t know how to write for her. Angie needs a script that’s smart and intelligent. Changeling and AMH were great, but too emotional and the script was one dimensional. I believe the critic Pauline Kael remarked on this as well. I think if she gets something that can balance the emotion with the intelligence, she’s a lock.

I still can’t forget when I went to see Wanted. Even before she came on screen, all you could hear in the audience was, where’s Angelina, where’s Angelina. And when she finally did come on screen, people in the theatre gasped. Frankly I’ve never been in a theatre where people gasped and said damn when and actor makes their first appearance. That is unique. That is THE JOLIE.

Look at how many times Paul Newman, Peter O’Toole, and even Meryl Streep were nominated and how many times did they win? Peter O’Toole never won, did he?

and let’s add Al Pacino to that list. There’s another one who was denied so long that they had to make it up with a lifetime award, can’t think of his name now. No they don’t always get it right (the committees who choose) at all.

As for Pacino - I wasn’t happy they decided to give him his sympathy Oscar the year they did. Denzel Washington fcuking KILLED IT in “X”…and the Academy rewards Pacino for playing handicapped in “Scent of a Woman”? That shite was just WRONG. I’ll never forget the look on Denzel’s face when Pacino’s name was read. He was Kanye before Kanye. It was like, “WHAT THE FCUK? THIS IS SOME FCUKED UP SHITE!” Couldn’t have agreed more…

As for the person who won the Lifetime Award who should have won earlier? That was Peter O’Toole. IIRC they gave him the Lifetime Award about 5 or 6 years ago. He’d been nominated like 8 times and never won. Don’t let me get started on how he was shafted for “Lawrence of Arabia”. He lost to Gregory Peck for “To Kill A Mockingbird”. That was just sooooooooooooo freaking wrong…

Also, I have the same issues at work with women giving me the evil eye or being plain nasty just because I hear that I am pretty. What people do not realize is that it is my accomplishments that got me so far at the age of 28 as the Director of Finance in the Company I work for. Automatically, the assume it’s because of your looks or maybe something else. I take care of myself and at 5 feet 9 inches, slim, good skin and a pretty smile, I turn heads. But I worked d@mn hard to get to where I am in my career and this is just the beginning. I am no where near Angie’s beauty, power, money, accomplishments so I can totally see why insecure women might hate her. Its too bad because jealousy over shadows what a great accomplished person she is. And to those that still speak of her past, I certainly hope that your past is as clean as God’s because otherwise you do not dare speak or judge anyone elses actions! I really hope that this stops oneday because it is horrid and believe me no matter how strong and confident you are, these things have a way of tearing up a little bit inside of you each and every time. Think about how it would feel if it were you or someone you loved being spoken of so negatively. How would that make you feel?

Some of you are just so pathetic, I can see the envy in each and every word you post! And jealousy is such an ugly monster…it is so crass and so lame, it only makes you an uglier person inside and out. And if I my guess is right, I do not think any of you haters want to look any uglier on the outside!
