OlderAngelina Jolie Hits 2009 Critics’ Choice Awards
Looking ever the Hollywood couple, Angelina Jolie and longtime love Brad Pitt heat up the red carpet at VH1’s 2009 Critics’ Choice Awards held at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium on January 8 (Thursday) in Santa Monica, Calif.

Angie’s Changeling is up for the noms while Brad’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is up for eight.
UPDATE: Angie had tears in her eyes when the late Heath Ledger won for Best Supporting Actor for The Dark Knight. She and Brad were also seen leaving their table to greet Changeling director Clint Eastwood and his wife Dina at their own table.

That’s funny. I read a review of W where the writer said they should have gotten AJ to play Laura Bush and that she would have done an excellent job.

Correction - Paul Newman did win an Oscar. He won for “The Color of Money” where he schooled Tiny Tom.

Thanks PT I knew you would know, and yeah I know Paul eventually won one and Pacino (for the wrong film) but I had already stopped watching LOL I’m talking about how Paul didn’t win for Cool Hand Luke. Peter O’ Toole Lawrence of Arabia same thing. Yeah those were the years I paid a bit of attention Now you don’t have to watch just come to jareds and get a play by play :) I was actually watching when Sydney Poitier won. I love to see Angie and Brad on RC but if they decided not to show I really would understand. Then what would they talk about?
Brad needs a better hairstyle. That one is just awful.

i am a big angie’s fan even I am OK to Anne winnning. i don’t expect angie to win in every awards. event if angie didn’t get the CC, GG, and OSCAR this year she already had 1 oscar, 1 PC, 3 GG, and 2 SAG. that’s more than some actresses have in their acting career. their are many actresses who are better than angie (that’s right i don’t think angie is the best) that never won any awards. anne is at where angie was when she won those awards. someday other actresses will beat anne in acting awards just like she beat angie. this is a cycle in hollywood
I am sure Brides War will do very well at the bo. I think the Angelina smear campaign is to secure AH a spot on the Oscar nom list. It’s not for Brides War.

I never read the tabloids or paid attention to the entertainment shows. I didn’t even know who he was. The fact is I remembered Jolie’s performance clearly. And Cate completely flew over my head. This is why I think she’s overrated. Don’t get me wrong I think she’s great, but not as great as everyone seems to think.

Cate Blanchett is talented but she has ZERO charisma, that’s why whenever she is in prsence with someone who has charisma and a strong screen presence, she tends to be ‘overlooked’.

Charisma channels what you got. I you have talent but no charisma you better be in a great role that could carry your talent each time otherwise you will be overlooked because of poor screen presence.

:) Agreed but they wouldn’t see them and that seems like punishment enough :) I miss the children but at least we are not hearing about them from the wicked. They are probably dying to see them, more than the fans, so they can complain about it, but it seems like months and not a hair on their cute little heads has been seen. Hard on the grandma’s who loved seeing them , but we understand. I seriously do hope we see the children before they finish college :)
When is Angie going to get tired of Brad’s boring, dusty old a$$ and find herself a younger hunka hunka burning love? Brad looks too old for her and he’s always trying to sound so intelligent, when clearly he’s not.
