Christian Bale - People’s Choice Awards 2009
Christian Bale poses backstage during the 2009 People’s Choice Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Wednesday (January 7) in Los Angeles.
The Dark Knight won every category it was nominated in at last night’s People’s Choice Awards. The film took home five categories, including Favorite Superhero, Favorite Movie, Favorite Action Movie, Favorite Cast, and Favorite Onscreen Match-Up (Christian Bale and Heath Ledger).
“On behalf of all of the cast from the movie, thank you very much to the fans,” said Bale. “Here’s to Heath.”

What a pleasure to see him there. He did look uncomfortable but his speech was very moving. I thought Heath did an amazing job in The Dark Knight but wish Christian got more praise for his role. He is always amazing. I haven’t seen him in a movie I haven’t liked.

CB is one of the most talented actors around! He looks like he was unconfortable there, I think he’s a quiet family man who hates hollywood buzz. I’m glad he won this award, he deserves it! And of course I think he was very sweet to dedicate the award to his friend Heath. He’s a good hearted guy!
I think The Dark Knight will be the most legendary mouvie in the 21 century . With the tragic death of a given young actor i mean heath ledger and a powerfull actor as the Welsh Christian Bale
