Why do some of you have to say such mean things about Angie, Brad and Jen?

I am sure they are all good people in their own ways. I really don’t understand all the hate. Angie and Brad belong together - they are perfect together. Jen and Brad were not meant to be and really it has been 4 years and hopefully ishe is over it already. She is not ugly - she is a very pretty lady and I hope she finds true love one day like Angie and Brad have.

And really who cares if Brad and Angie did not win - they are winners already in that they are nominated for such prestigeous awards. They are much better actors than many of their peers. YUP, it’s like a clockwork you can always time her famewhoring the minute you see Brad and Angelina. The old woman is showing her age she looks like 50 right there and the neck will show the real age.

My prediction for Angie is she will not win this year. But in the next few years as she chooses fewer and fewer roles studios and directors will be trying to entice her with ‘prestige’ roles and Angie will find one and give it her all (as she always does) and Hollywood will fall over themselves trying to reward her. I predict within the next 5 years she will have another Oscar even if it is for a supporting role. For all the haters say about her the truth is Hollywood misses her as much as we do.

I watched Anne Hathaway’s acceptence speech just to see whether Angie gave her “the stink eye” as some are saying.
I wouldn’t call it the “stink eye” myself…. but maybe the look Angie had on her face was to do with the fact that Anne H. was going gaga over Meryl Streep.
Didn’t Meryl take a swipe at Brad and Angie about selling photos of their children once? I think Meryl was on The View when she criticized and slagged off at them.

Caroline (Ormond) learns and discovers the curious case of Benjamin Button (Pitt) as she reads Button’s diary to her ailing mother on her deathbed. Button, who was born as a baby with the features and diseases of a 70-year-old man whether by miracle or by some twist of fate, defies all odds and lives, grows up and ages backwards.

The story follows Benjamin, in the retirement home he was abandoned at, watching people grow old and discovering he is very different from the rest of elderly living there. Benjamin meets Daisy (Blanchett) and their romance begins despite him being in his “sixties” and her about to enter her adolescent days.

While the audience is fascinated at how Benjamin continues to grow younger as he goes out to work on the sea, take part in World War II and become a rich tycoon, Daisy’s aging makes this film a heart-breaking tragedy. Part of the movie’s fascination is how Benjamin’s aging is unnatural and, well, wrong. Benjamin defies all the normality that we have grown accustomed to, growing mentally younger as he ages older.

A rich love spills out between Benjamin and Daisy as they meet time after time at different ages, until they cross roads at middle age. Daisy is more than aware that Benjamin is aging “younger,” while she feels the aches and pains of growing older. This exists as the one flaw to their perfect love — it is shadowed by disappointment and fated to end.

While Benjamin Button keeps the title and basic premise of Fitzgerald’s short story, the film does not keep the same setting of 19th century Baltimore, instead using a more contemporary 20th century New Orleans.

Fincher and writer Eric Roth make a smart decision with this change, as the film wonderfully weaves the magic and reminiscence of the 20th century with this supernatural phenomenon. Fincher ties the film off with the reality of death and time — making the audience question whether The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was true or not.

Fincher also keeps the film’s cinematography continually breathtaking. With rich scenes, careful lighting and focus on Pitt and Blanchett, the film is subtly yet beautifully filmed. It will be no surprise if this film wins Best Picture at the upcoming Academy Awards.

Despite its offbeat premise and epic length of 166 minutes, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button will have you watching in curiosity as Benjamin grows younger and younger, while the rest of us continue normally in time.

Everyone is making such a big deal about Angelina’s expression at the CCA, but no one is saying anything about Kate Beckinsale’s expression. When the camera did a close up of Kate she had the exact expression on her face as Angie did. Now why is the press not reporting on that? I’m sure it’s because Angelina is a more high profile target. Commenting on Kate Beckinsale’s expression wouldn’t garner much press. If anyone has the video of the awards they can clearly see it. The camera pans to Kate right after Angie.

On paper, Benjamin and Daisy’s romance feels like a convoluted and complicated fantasy about two unlikely individuals whose love for each other defies age and mortality. But, unlike many cinematic fairy tales, Fincher’s film avoids schmaltz overdose and unabashed sentimentality. On the night of the CCAs, I didnt hear Anne’s speech, because I was (1) disappointed, and (2) I never listen to acceptances speeches, because they are usually so boring. O f course if Brad or Angie wins, that I will definitely be listening to. Anyhoo, after reading all the hullaboo at Lamey and Perezhilton, I finally looked at the video, and had to scratch my head, at how these fools will do and say ANYTHING to criticize Angie. In looking at the video, I saw Angie as being quite serious and emotional listening to a young woman enjoying her win, and probably reminding her of her win. Angie was at the CCA last year, and didn’t win, so why would she be upset this year about someone who she has worked with in a humanitarian capacity? They are so hellbent in perceiving this woman as a b*tch, that they would use anything, no matter how ridiculous, to boost their agenda. These people have no souls, and take such delight in being b*tches.

I think I have finally figured out Lamey. She likes Brad, but does not like Angie at all. I think she is p*ssed that it is so obvious to everyone that the love that Brad had for Fishstycks, pales in comparison to how much he loves Angie. She is always ready to believe anything negative about Angie. The latest is that Angie is using botox. Nevermind that in some of the pictures from Thursday night, you can see the vein inAngie’s forehead, and the creases at her mouth when she smiles. Thank God Angie does not give these people the time of day.

As I watch the telecast of the Critic’s Choice, I have to admit that so far, I’d say Ms. Beckinsale has had a real harsh look on her face, no compassion or conversations going on at her table, but some hard ass staring.

The fact is they have been nominated for just about everything! So it is an exciting time!

I thought the exact same thing. Angie’s face was kind of like, “Meh, whatever.” but Kate Beckinsale was using Z’s patented, “Die, ratzi, die!” stare. ITA. Ditto Cate Blanchett and Meryl Streep. Ditto Brad. I think that was one reason why he left Aniston; she was obsessed with that life and he grew out of it a long time ago — if he was ever in it. The funny thing is that Aniston lives for the superficial, inane, meaningless Hollywood life, and she’s probably furious and mortified that she’s been shut out of it since Brad dumped her. I took a closer look at picture 4 and agree its a PINK and white something that kid is wearing. So, it’s probably shiloh. I think the way the light and shadows play in these fuzzy photos makes shiloh’s hair look different.

Sorry dkay but that’s Pax. No blonde hair looks that dark even in shaow. You can see the blonde streak in Pax’s hair.

LOL! First it was a pink dress, now it’s white. That child is wearing a blue shirt or a blue jacket; you can see it in the photo. And if the child is sitting next to Angie with his/her head on Angie’s shoulder, Shiloh’s head couldn’t reach Angie’s shoulder yet. That’s Pax in the photo.

That is Shiloh. You can see the hair is blondish. Pax hair is dark.

That’s Shiloh, she simply became dark blond, just like her mom. And her hair tone looks even more darker cuz of shadow.

I read about that guy in the LA Times a little more than a year ago. It sounds like he is a wheeler-dealer kind of guy. He brokers deals between investors and HW to finance films. Very smart, but shady. But who knows, people like that may end up super rich. Just look at Donald Trump. What I don’t understand is why Maniston has to fake everything? Thanks bdj. Sometimes I worry about my admiration for this terriffic couple and then I see them together and the family they have created and the good that they do and I am rpoud to be a fan. I know that sounds corny but I know people who worship far worse role models.
Can not wait to see them tonight. I rewatched the CCA’s and the camera just loves Angie and could not keep the camera off of her face. I hope tonight is the same. I like to see them interact as obviously so don’t a lot of people. Win or lose they are winners in my book.
