I watched Anne Hathaway’s acceptence speech just to see whether Angie gave her “the stink eye” as some are saying.
I wouldn’t call it the “stink eye” myself…. but maybe the look Angie had on her face was to do with the fact that Anne H. was going gaga over Meryl Streep.
Didn’t Meryl take a swipe at Brad and Angie about selling photos of their children once? I think Meryl was on The View when she criticized and slagged off at them.
Why would Angie be smiling when someone was gushing about Meryl….isn’t smiling like agreeing with someone.
Meryl is a cow and Angie does not have to smile in agreement when someone is gushing about her (Meryl)
Angie is not fake. She doesn’t pretend. She is acutely aware that cameras are always on her ALL throughout anything she attends. She is true to herself…..she smiles when she wants to and doesn’t smile if she doesn’t want to. Nothing to do with her being “a sore loser”. And everything to do with her being completely natural and true….even if it lands her in hot water in some parts of the press.

Yeah, karma’s a stone bítch, isn’t it? Nobody knows that better than Fugly. Laid and played, humped and dumped, career at a standstill, never nominated for anything, never invited anywhere, can’t find a distributor for Traveling, Management bombed at the Toronto film festival, HJINTY getting lousy previews, Mayer the player off doing his thing leaving her to sleep alone every night… yep, poor Fugly is a walking talking example of bad karma. And it’s only going to get worse. Turning 40, no movies coming up… oh well, maybe she can scrounge a few bit parts on some TV sitcoms…

I’m not intimidated, as a rule. When you meet these people, you just hope they’re going to be alright, otherwise it’s going to be destroying everything you’ve ever thought about them. And mostly they are.

The ones that have been there and done that, you’ve got no worries with. It’s usually the ones who are halfway down the line and have got their hang-ups who are a little bit of trouble.

Sometimes it’s difficult for them, though. Like Angelina Jolie, who I appeared opposite in Beowulf. She’s a great kid, as is her other half Brad Pitt, but the nature of the beast in America is that you live your life in the public eye non-stop, and it’s tough. It’s not as bad here. People may say hello in the street but, mostly, they leave you alone.

Brad’s a nice kid too. I tell you what, though, he’s a strapping lad - a lot bigger than you think he is. Although, maybe that’s because I met him just after he’d finished shooting the film Troy, in which he played Achilles, and he was bulked out all over.

He was impressive, I’ll tell you that. And he was always hanging around the Beowulf set. I think he was scared that Angelina was going to run off with me. Poor guy.
