Violet Affleck: Open Sesame!
Violet Affleck pushes open the door while getting picked up from school by her dad, Ben Affleck on Friday in Santa Monica, Calif.
The 3-year-old was also a bit shy as she covered her eyes at one point.
After the birth of Jen and Ben’s second daughter on Tuesday, Violet must be getting ready to be a big sister at home!
Former Alias co-star and family friend Victor Garber recently reported, “I talked to her and she’s doing great! I just marvel at how they’re being brought up. What a wonderful mother Jennifer is, and what a joy it is to be around that family.”

You are right. I missed that one.
You shouldn’t post pictures of a minor child of celeb parents, when the parents are not present. IMHO.
I, too, would be very surprised if the name is Chase Milan. Unless by chance they are family names of great grandparents or something like that. That name just doesn’t seem to fit the them.
Wouldn’t it be terrible if Ben is going back to Jlo?
Does it surprise anyone else that Affleck appears to be a good father?
To bonus boy #53 it doesn’t surprise me at all, Jen once said in an interview she knew Ben would be a fantastic father and that is why she chose him to be her baby daddy in the first place.
Congrats to this beautiful familia!!! Look forward to seeing them all together out and about soon. Benny is such a delight to see taking care of Violet while Jen is with the new bombina.

It looks like Ben’s mother is here to help out the family, its the mil turn to help out after Jen’s mother had to help with Violet. Jen was funny on Leno saying how her mother didn’t want to come but Ben got on the phone and told her she had to.
At least A-hole didn’t flip the bird this time. I just love the picture where he flips the bird to the paps while holding his child…yep heck of a dad. Yep he is so down to earth that he left his wife preggers and went to the congo a war torn country to make a six minute short movie…yeah it’s all about the career and image. I bet the girl is a spoil brat after all who the heck carries their daughter 24/ 7 as if she were a little trophy or a little monkey. The nanny lets her walk unlike the parents, ..it figures the nanny is latina, latinas don’t baby their children they give them autonomy. I was told the name was Caroline Jennifer. Caroline after Ben’s grandmother. Violet was Jennifer’s paternal grandmother’s name. Anne is Jennifer’s middle name.
Caroline? Ick. Oh, well. She’s sure to be a cutie pie. I just don’t know why they won’t officially release it. There is speculation out there that they thought they were having a boy. If you have a boy’s name picked but no girl’s name, that would explain the delay.
Caroline Jennifer sounds a little more like it. Ben said in an interview that they were choosing a traditional name. Both of them hate the tryndee names. So, I believe that Caroline could be it.
I hope Jennifer’s o.k. Victor Garber said this birth was easier. If so, why is she still in the hospital unless she had a c-section. Gosh, I hope everything is o.k.
yes, as in the other thread, the biggest leak is that it’s Chase Milan Garner Affleck! sources were leaked from the hospital!
She’s not in hospital, she’s at home. You haven’t seen pictures because Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck know how to avoid the paparazzi when they want to. When Jennifer went for her check ups the paparazzi were always taking pictures because they were tipped off by her manager but when Jennifer wanted privacy to have the baby and leave the hospital she managed to do so without the paparazzi taking pictures.
They knew they were having a girl and they had a name already picked out, they are just playing the media games all the celebrities play trying to get more attention by keeping it secret.
Ben wanted a boy! like most of their fans he’s happy the baby is healthy and everything but disappointed it was a girl not a boy.

As far as Ben leaving Jen to go to the Congo. I am sure across this country there are men with pregnant wives that have to go to work, travel and sometimes out of the country.
My own father was out of the country fighting in a war when I was born, and he volunteered as they needed medical personell. Does that make him a “bad father”? No.
They knew the due date, and knew when Ben would be gone and when he would be back. Just because he went doesn’t make him a bad father or husband.
As far as tipping the paps off. Sure, because that is what ever pregnant mother in the last few weeks of pregnancy wants as she is heading into the doctors office for a check up, with no makeup on, and wet hair. Yes, please paps come take my picture. RIGHT!
Now, if she was dressed to the nines like Victoria Beckham, then you would have a case with the whole “call the paps” thing. Just not buying it.

True enough - have just this minute heard the new baby will be called “Magenta Rose”. How flowery is that !!! Apparently the name “Chase Milan” was deliberately leaked, to avoid their final choice name being released so early.
Tulip # 63 how do you come up with that idiotic notion that Jen and Ben are playing game to get more media attention? If anything, this couple has never given the impression that they court or want media attention. In fact, the complete opposite would seem to apply to them. I think you paint all celebs with the same brush. This couple does not fit that mold. You are way out in left field at Fenway Park and it’s still football season. ROTFLMAO.
It’s easy to tell that Jen and Ben are playing the media game. How did Jen manage to avoid the paps when she went in to give birth (and left, since I doubt she’s still in hospital at this point)? She was even smiling at the paps when they got her going to Cedars Sinai shortly before giving birth, these b*tches never met a camera they didn’t like, and if they have to pimp their daughters out for more attention (which they do), then they will (and have).
Anyone who can’t see it is just an idiot at this point.
Oh, and if they hated all this paparazzi attention so much, then why would Jen’s publicist send a press release to Just Jared announcing the birth??? That statement was sent to select media outlets (TMZ wasn’t on the list) for a reason. All JJ does is put up paparazzi pics, so if Jen and Ben hate it so much, why would they give JJ one of the press releases?
They LOVE the pap attention, its the only thing keeping their careers alive at this point.
