Brangelina didn’t give the money they made out of their children’s pictures.

They claimed they would donate it, but they still keep it and it was YEARS ago.

I don’t think it is their money to give- it is their children’s and Brangelina have enough money of their own to give- if they so wish.

According to the writer of the vogue interview, he describes Jen’s big house, having a butler, personal chef etc. Why didnt Jen give back? I have NOT heard of any significant amount which Jen gives. The most she gave was on Oprah, approximately 300 thousand. Even Drew Barrymore was giving away 1 million. Considering how much she has, she should write a FAT CHECK.

Aniston gave $ 30, 000 to each of the 7 eliminated contestants on Oprah’s big give.

That totaled to 30,000 x 7 = 210,000 (two hundred & ten thousand)

Considering Jen has 110 million ( $ 110,000,000) . This 210K is chump change.

The 14M you’re referring happened in 2008. It went into the foundation. Therefore, you have to look at the 2008 foundation tax return before you start barking. The 2008 tax return is not due until May 2009.

Finally, Steve Huvane charges a lot for being her publicist. He spent much time in plotting how to PACKAGE Jen. Jennifer Aniston pays for PREMIER SERVICES. I guess you aniston fan do not think New Orleans is not part of the US. It is nice that jennifer support the poor in the USA. Angelina can not be partial since she work for THE UNITED NATIONS on world hunger. I really wished jen did not pose nude for that man’s magazine. I think it has tainted her image to a lot of people. You have to remember whatever jolie had done, was when she was a tennager or early twenties. Angelina is only 33 years old and she has accomplished so much. It seems that Jennifer has sat around doing nothing all these years and at almost 40years old is trying to catch up with Jolie. She need to get rid of all these people thats putting her out there like that. Some young girl take off their clothes to get noticed and have limited talent. They are Brad and Angie’s children and Brad and Angie arranged the photoshoots, so it’s absolutely Brad and Angie’s decision what to do with the money.

And she doesnt spearhead her own charity, she is always just there to support her friends, never her own. Courtney and DAvid are much better, they have founded their own advocacy. Just like JJ’s headline now, JA is not feeding America, its David Arquette who is the one involved.

For the St jude thing, she is the spokesman because she gets paid, and she gets maximum exposure on national TV.

By the way, the kids are still tiny. If they have another photoshoot of the twins, maybe Brad and Angie will decide to make a magazine pay again and put the money in their foundation. That would be great!

When it comes to charity, Aniston is definitely stingy. She never gives her own money. She does appearances, and telethons, she does TV advert for St Jude, but never gives out big CAsh. Okay, about a bajillion years ago back in the 1950s, Debbie Reynolds was the cute-little-girl-next-door (gag) movie star who was married to a guy named Eddie Fisher. Along comes Elizabeth Taylor, drop-dead gorgeous (google some of her early photos), newly widowed, and starts casting eyes at Eddie Fisher. God knows why; Fisher was no Brad Pitt. Fisher looked like a doofus. But anyhow, the minute Taylor batted her gorgeous violet eyes at Fisher, Fisher dumped poor Debbie Reynolds like a hot potato and ran off with Taylor. He divorced Reynolds, married Taylor almost immediately afterwards, and the marriage broke up inside of two years. They never had any children together (Fisher has one daughter, Carrie Fisher, with Reynolds, and Taylor has two or three children by an earlier marriage.) Taylor went on to marry Richard Burton and Reynolds never remarried, as far as I know. But a few years ago, Taylor, Reynolds and Joan Collins all appeared in a TV movie together and seemed to be on the best of terms.

There was a report in the tabloids that someone told her she shouldn’t have remarried so soon after Mike Todd’s death and she is supposed to have said “What am I supposed to do — sleep alone?” I don’t know if she ever said it, but if she did, it was an idiotic thing to say, considering that everybody and his mother was screaming for her head after Fisher left his wife for her. Anyway, it sure didn’t hurt her career any; she got even bigger movie roles after she dumped Fisher and married Richard Burton.

I admire Angie for a long while now, and nothing that anyone would write or say against her would change that. As much as Angelina has more qualities(inside and out) that I admire, I’m also very aware what a nice woman Jennifer is, so I don’t see a meaning to put this two amazing women on a quarrel, specially after a man decisions, because above all things, Brad made them considering what was best for him, consequentially for all them. The same way that Jennifer was hurt with the divorce, I believe that there was no cheating, and that impasse created those cruel speculations…

Anyway, wish the best for Brad, Angelina AND Jennifer.
And I support any kind of help they can give for the less fortunate…

By the time Z’s birth mother surfaced, Z’s adoption had been finalized in court for over a year. WTF do you think they should have done — rescinded the adoption and given Z back? 1) We dont care if Jen has no children at all BECAUSE we all think she’s NOT mother material.

2) There’s nothing wrong of hiring staff (nannies) to help. I do that, and I know many mothers do that too. The most important thing is the parents still stay involve in raising the kids even with the hired help.

3) Angie has said NONE of her help stayed overnight, meaning they are with the kids in the evening. Isnt most of the normal American families do? that is BOTH parents work in the daytime, but supervise homework at night?

4) Angie has said each child gets individual time.

5) With the birth of the twins, Angie said they have help at night a couple days a week only.

Z’s birth mother ABANDONED her and went off without a backward glance. Her mother’s family was unable to care for her and brought her to the orphanage. She was a very sick baby and might very well have died in the orphanage if Brad and Angie hadn’t adopted her. They literally saved Z’s life.

They owe absolutely nothing to the birth mother. She walked off and and abandoned Z.. When her family brought Z to the orphanage, they told the people at the orphanage they had no idea where the birth mother was or if she was still alive.

If you have a baby, where do you get off expecting somebody else to give you money so you can raise it? Your children are your responsibility.

Paul Newman was never shy about advertising both his commercial food business nor his Hole in the Wall Camps. They both received wide publicity and marketing. Paul Newman was no fool and he knew for them to succeed he needed to publicize them. He also was happy to capitalize on his name, his reputation and his celebrity to sell his products and get people to donate to his camps. That is how it is done by those who are successful in philanthropy. This silly idea of keeping such activities secret is ridiculous. I don’t even understand how any intelligent person can think that.

Paul Newman also did numerous celebrity photo spreads for various magazines like Look and Life back int he 1950s and 1960s with his wife and children and he did them in his own homes. That is just part of the business and there’s nothing untoward or wrong about it. One of the reasons that Paul Newman was so popular was because he was sexy and beautiful and he was smart enough to capitalize on that. He even approved posters of himself in black and white with only the eyes in color - that gorgeous blue. I know cause I had that poster on my wall in my distant youth. Everyone had that poster.

So perhaps people who don’t know what they are talking about should refrain from drawing ill conceived comparisons just so they can make some catty and nasty attack on the Jolie Pitts.

Of all the people in the celebrity world to criticize about their life style, the Jolie Pitts are one of the least deserving of such criticism. I can’t imagine the depth of the personal issues that must plague the people intent on finding criticism about either Jolie or Pitt for everything they do. Bringing up their own children in the way Ellie has done is simply bizarre and unhealthy.

Our own families and children have nothing to do with our admiration or respect for actors or public persons just as our own children who might be great athletes don’t prevent me from cheering for football teams and praising their team members. Some people just need to get a grip on reality.

Ellie’s posts are childish. She takes offense when anyone corrects her and is able to refute her delusions about Aniston or her misimperssions about Jolie and/or Pitt.

Why would a grown woman with children bring up her own children as a reason why other people shouldn’t admire performers? It’s almost as if you can’t applaud and be happy for others for fear you’ll take away from your own happiness. That’s a sad and unhealthy attitude.

I am happy to call out and refute those who lie about the Jolie Pitts and who can’t do enough to spread lies and smear Angelina Jolie all over the internet. If some of you are ignorant of the vitriolic sites that exist spewing unspeakable vile about Jolie and Pitt then find out about them and the defamation they have been engaged in going on 5 years now before you dare to criticize those who set the record straight. The posters from those sites brag about what they do and brag about coming here to spread more lies - good lord they even discuss planning their little smear campaigns.

The most recent example of these smears is pretending that 2 seconds of a clip suggests that Angelina Jolie was not happy for Anne Hathway on her win at the Broadcast Film Critics Award show. Could you be any more desperate to trash another woman than to imagine what you thought she was thinking in 2 seconds of a clip. You didn’t even see Angelina at the momemt of the announcement - what you are criticizing is 2 seconds during the part of the speech when Anne was devolving and acting like a space cadet. The other people in the clip with Angelina seem appalled by Anne’s speech whereas Angelina just seemed bemused or concerned. for those who don’t knw it Angelina and Anne have a warm and mutually supportive history working together. There is a reason why Angelina invited Anne to work with her on one of her humanitarian projects and there is a reason why Anne adores and admires Angelina and is happy to tell that to anyone.

Of course NONE of us knows what Angelina was thinking from a few seconds on a clip. That’s the whole point.

I feel in my opinion it wrong to say what you give. Giving is the most wonderful&precious thing in the world to be able to do that. But when you have to let the world know , that what I disrespect..

It is wrong to keep reminding the beneficiaries what you give but it isn’t wrong for the beneficiaries to remember and tell others what the benefactors gave. In the case of public charities, any one with brain larger than a pea knows that public awareness is what these charities’ need to get more donations for their causes, hence they organize charity balls, gala, parties, concerts, TV shows, marathons, etc. Jerrey Lewis’ Labor Day marathon, Live Aid concerts are a few to call forth in mind. Also the very event that is the subject of this thread should be considered. Aren’t the attendants of this very event publicize their donation by attending? Or are you going to say “No, they are just there to see friends, have fun or…”?
