America Ferrera - Golden Globes 2009
America Ferrera hits the red carpet at the 2009 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 11) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 24-year-old Ugly Betty actress wore an asymmetrical taupe Oscar de la Renta dress.
“[Oscar] sketched it and it looked amazing,” America told USA Today on the red carpet. “It is comfortable and feels fun.”
America finished off her look with Jimmy Choo’s “Clue” satin sandals and 19th Century silver on gold Fred Leighton jewels (diamond pendant earrings, diamond bow bracelet, diamond and natural pink pearl bracelet, and pear shaped diamond ring).
When asked who she’s cheering on tonight, she said, “I’m a big fan of Slumdog Millionaire.”

I fell in love with this dress when I saw it on the red-carpet. I totally love it. Oscar dela Renta, you did a great job. Now, I only wish I could afford it.
