Both he and Brendan deserved a Globe. Bruges was possibly the most overlooked film of the year!

Farrell was wonderful in this, it perfectly proofs the doubters just how wrong they are when it comes to criticising his acting. I personally thought Brendan Gleeson was a tad better, though! Congratulations, however. It will certainly give him a career boosts after those line of bad films.

I saw this movie and it was a lot better than I thought it would be. He did a great job. I thought Javier Berdam did a good job in Vicky Cristina Barcelona also, but Collin did a better job so yes, he deserved it. I did think that Penelope should have one for best supporting actress though, she was great in that movie and I don’t even like her, but those are just my two cents.

No, he didnt deserve to win for THAT movie, it was so stupid.

I have to say I like his hair shorter than that long crap he was sporting a few weeks ago, but there’s still something girly about him. Smarmy.

he's gorgoeus and @ 01/12/2009 at 6:16 pm

jillian , you must kidding me , is that you next to him you don’t how lucky you are to have the chance to be next him, even scarfy his still sooooooooo gorgeous i’m sure you trying to rub it in, i must say it’s working.

he looks like he gained back some much needed weight, and got a great hair cut. he’s back to looking incredibly sexy!!!!!

Well done Colin! He’s a sweet, gorgeous guy and a terrific actor - hope he keeps getting lucky with the roles.

james franco shouldve gotten that award instead :)

Colin deserves all good things. He is a lovely, sweet man. I admire how he has cleaned up his life and really become a wonderful caring father to his severely developmentally disabled little boy. The child must be about four or five years old, now. I could listen to him talk forever. You can tell juet watching him and listening to him in his interviews that he has a kind heart.

Well done Colin, he so deserved it and gave a brilliant speech. Brendan looked genuinely happy for him too. I like the long hair though!!

Smellyshelly @ 01/12/2009 at 7:17 pm

In Bruges was an absolutely perfect film and Colin was perfect in it.

I was really surprised when the screenwriter didn’t get a nomination.
