Colin Farrell Goes Golden
Colin Farrell brings home the hardware at the 2009 Golden Globes after winning “Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical Or Comedy” for In Bruges.
The 2009 Golden Globe Awards was held this year at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Sunday.
The 32-year-old actor won over strong competition including: Dustin Hoffman of Last Chance Harvey and Javier Bardem of Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

Yes, he deserved to win (no disrespect intended to the other nominees)!!!! He was fantastic in In Bruges!! One of my favorite movies of the year.

In Bruge was a great idea with an uneven execution…but…Colin Farrell had a few scenes that made the whole flick worth seeing. He was scary-good. It is so rare to see commitment to a role like this.

nora , colin just turned 32 couple of months ago, so do the math, he’s is a year younger than angie.
Couldn’t care less whether he deserves the award or not - remember this is an award coming from the most self-absorbed and self-serving group of individuals in the world - but it’s nice to see him looking so clean cut for a change! He’s a really handsome guy when he doesn’t look like he just spent a month in the jungle. :)

I too was surprised by Colin’s performance it was much better than I had expected. Of course, I think Brad Pitt was equally good in Burn after Reading in a very quirky part. I am glad to see Colin straightened himself out and is now making headlines for his acting and not his antics. For those that prefer the bad boy, you only have to look at Mickey Rourke to see what happens when you don’t turn it around.
