Hilary Duff is BARELY LEGAL

Hilary Duff is set to star in a half-hour legal dramedy on NBC called Barely Legal.

According to THR, the series is based on the true story of Kathleen Holtz, who in November 2007 passed the notoriously difficult California bar at age 18 to become the state’s youngest lawyer.

Duff will be playing lawyer Holtz. Barely was created by actor Rob Morrow, who will be exec producing.

waste of time. but i’m kinda glad that she’s moving in a more adult direction. I’m still pissed that she covered depeche mode’s personal jesus and destroyed it.

The Kathleen Holtz story is too amazing. she went to Cal State at 10, then got into UCLA Law School at 15…graduated at 18 and passed the bar exam that same year!!!

Forget making a TV series based on a true story. Just follow the REAL Kathleen Holtz!

You’re right, #14. The now late WB network had the same exact idea for a TV program called Just Legal starring Jay Baruchel and Don Johnson.

OMG ill so watch it thnk god shes starting to do projects that would shift her fanbase. Atleast hilary is working unlike a certain former disney brat. And she is also set to be in the new bonnie and clyde movie

This girl got so many haters and is probably laughing at some of these people’s comments which i’m sure more than half are not educated and unemployed lol while Hilary is climbing the a list status

Hilary is gonna be in over the hedge two and is gonna be in bonnie and clyde.
people will watch the show mainly cause its Hilary Duff. Even if they don’t like her, people are still gonna watch it cause her carrer and name attracts a lot of media good attraction. not like a lindsay lohan show.
she is definitely more of an actor

I won’t watch because Hilary can’t act!!! Her voice is not good because she sounds like a dumb Valley Girl. Maybe she’ll improve for this show, but I think that young woman deserves a better actress to tell her amazing story and Hilary Duff is NOT an amazing actress. I give the show 13 episodes before it’s canceled!!!
