Tom Cruise’s Date To The Golden Globes: His Mom!
Tom Cruise arrives on the red carpet with his mother Mary Lee Mapother and father-in-law Martin Holmes (pictured below) at the 2009 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 11) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Wife Katie Holmes was back in New York City, giving her final performance in the Arthur Miller play All My Sons.
Tom had the honor of presenting the night’s top honor, “Best Moiton Picture - Drama” to Slumdog Millionaire.

Tom looks good. He’s working hard to recapture public approval. I agree that his mom and Katie’s dad were the perfect choices to accompany him, and that little Suri’s photo coverage has helped him.
He’s all about appearances and creating the right image and staying in control. Hope that Katie is able to toe the line now that the play is over and she’s returning to LA.
I don’t believe there’s anything about this man’s life that isn’t manufactured, except for his behavior with Matt Lauer, Brooke Shields, and on Oprah a few years ago…I think all of that was real. I think now he’ll suck up to anything to recapture what, in his mind at least, were his “glory days,” and that his life is empty without the attention. Sad.

I hope some anons got in there somehow to protest the cutlster cruise. He is looking more and more skinny with every new photo. It makes his front teeth look even more to the side than normal. His smile is so tilted it just freaks me out. And those wide eyed maniacal photo’s of him when they were leaving is what makes me think some anons DID get in there because he looks frozen.
