Christina Milian - “Us Against the World” Music Video

Check out the new Christina Milian music video called “Up Against the World!”

It’s the first single from the 27-year-old singer’s upcoming album Dream in Color, out April 2009. The song is her first single since Def Jam dropped her in 2006 because of Rihanna. Christina, who is now signed with Myspace Records/Interscope, wrote the single herself and describes it as a “cinematic power ballad.”

christina just doesn’t have the “it” factor and the star power to make it really big…i liked the song and the video was okay, but i don’t think she’ll ever make it that big…rihanna is in a whole different class and i feel rihanna is much more creative (mind you…i didn’t like rihanna when she first came out as a new artist but she has really impressed me since then!)

This was actually one of my favorite songs, however the video is ridiculous. The scenery was great but the outfits (especially the high cut, Jane Fonda/Jamie Lee Curtis leotard thingy) were trashy. For such a beautiful ballad, she could have tried to produce an equally stunning video. Being sexy still sells, but being trashy makes you just another video ho.

geesh… after being dropped for rihanna, i expected her to come up with something totally mindblowing… something that would make defjam regret dropping her in the first place… but this video sucks… real disappointing… the song is so-so but the video really suck big time… i like dip it low better…

I love this song and the video. The lyrics are pretty amazing and simple. Christina Milian deserves the best because she’s worked so hard to get to where she is today. Plus, she picked the right guy for the video ;)

I totally agree I was about to say Us? who? you alone on a desert posing and singing what is that? and THEN some unrealistic model dude is with her. What!? The song is alright, it was good but the video could of had so many possibilities, the direction was lazy…
