Daniel Craig Needs New York ‘Defiance’
007 favorite Daniel Craig and long-time love Satsuki Mitchell (in Alexander McQueen) attend The Cinema Society screening of Defiance on Monday (January 12) in New York City.
We last saw the 40-year-old actor premiering the film in Paris last week.
Daniel talked to Jay Leno about keeping some things hidden, saying, “I have a couple of tattoos where you’d see them. There’s another where you wouldn’t. It’s hidden away! I had them done when I was 16 or 17. It was a rebellion thing. Make-up artists have a nightmare with them though because they continually have to cover them up. I don’t regret them, you can’t. It’s a personal thing.”

yeah i saw all of that in the pics that were posted earlier by satslover, that he was in an esclade etc
anything new to offer though? i mean we saw that in the pics
a thought - you sure seem like you see many celebs in NY, maybe invest in a camera and you might get some really great pics to remember it all by and to post for us who are not there

yes, i saw sat.
She was walking , in the way back of the garage.
she filed out of the studio with everyone else in their entourage.
there were a lot of other people there, I guess PR assistants, etc.
She is small framed, and she got into the car.
I looked like she cut her hair, but maybe it was just styled differently.
She was in the car while dan was out front.
I was told he was the minder. He has been at every function protecting Daniel. I know that Sal is his only PR agent there.
It is what I have been told so please dont bite my head off.
and no pictures???? girl, get a camera…lol
ok 477, here is one more thing i will offer.
I observed that Daniel was in a very …um….how can i say this without being labeled….he was in a very uptight, impatient mood.
And he was in a rush. A BIG rush. Stayed two seconds and left.
Not at all talkative with people, and from what I heard just from speaking with others there, he was much more congenial and friendly and talkative with everyone when he was on Regis/Kelly for the Quantum of Solace tv interview.
this is Nothing EVER against Daniel bec for me, he is perfect and can do no wrong in my book :)
but, for whatever reason today, that is what I observed.
So maybe He was tired, OR bad day for him, he is justifiably exhausted from 3 or 4 months of straight interviewing and flying around the globe, rushing from city to city and interview to interview.
THis is the end of a long 4 years for him.
And last nite he did do the Jon Stewart show, which was taped late….so maybe he was just so wiped out…
i don’t know …. but I am sure that is what much of his mood is, and rightly so!
I would think he is just exhausted to say the least…

I don’t do cameras….
I don’t do autographs…I mean even if I saw Mick Jagger or Keith Richards, BOTH who I love and adore!!, I would never ask for an autograph.
I would die first.
I know, i am weird, i just won’t do it.
I can’t explain why.
I’m sure he is exhausted. Being rushed and agitated is normal.
I hope the guy goes on another vacation.
He looked agitated in the pics when signing. Did you get his autograph. If you were in the garage, did you not get that close?

Yes he did say that in a recent interview but you do forget he went on various holidays in between.
He spent several months in Europe after CR came out and before Defiance. Has been on many short trips in the UK, went to the Caribbean last Christmas.
He lived in Italy for awhile too, so he does get breaks. ;)
The guy was his minder NOT PR person. just to correct you.

One guy asked me to get an autograph for him, I did not want to and i told him he should ask dan for 2 autographs. I asked him why he needed 2, he said to sell on ebay.
I don’t think the ceolebs like that sort of thing, to make money on their photo, and I would never do it (sell it) IF I got an autograph of daniel.
I just would not feel right- I think I would feel like a “pimp who did not pay his hooker …if that makes sense????
THat is how I would feel.
And I could never do that …esp. regarding Daniel.
it would always stick in the back of my mind that I pimped out Daniels photo….just does not feel right in my gut.
AND they paps were also there, swarming around in a craze..
It was really crazy, they just swarmed in and came out of nowhere it seemed.
LOTS of pushing, shoving and jostling.
And the 2 guys with Daniel, the bald guy and the white shirt/blue jacket guy were pushing people back, trying to keep order, doing some bodyguard work while Daniel was signing…
very aggressive atmosphere…

You are not weird, I’m the same way. I don’t do autographs at all, now photos I have done but they have been in controlled settings like at a convention where you have to stand in line.
Actually I was plenty close. Like two people back. behind in the photos, but the people getting the autographs were right in front, and the paps were next, and they were pushing ahead, in front. And then the 2 bodyguard guys were standing guarding dan.
When Daniel came out to sign, all the people just rushed forward.
I certainly was not quick enough, and i did not have anything for him to sign,…..
so what was i going to do…????
I mean, the answers to that question are endless….lol!
Maybe he read or was told about all the crap people are saying about his girlfriend on this board so he is peed off!!!!!!
Little tidbit: Satsuki takes pics for their albums, one other reason she goes everywhere.
Obviously private pics we will never see…

It happens all the time in the sports world - that’s why some stars refuse to give autographs. At the fests that I go to there is a limit to items to be signed (it used to be 2-3 now it is only one). Some fans come to these venues with a suitcase full of stuff to be signed. It’s crazy! :(

I understand your wanting to correct me.
But , I asked the man himself.
we were talking and I asked him what he did and he told me he does PR for Daniel. he is vbased in London.
Now that is what the man told me HIMSELF (the guy with the white shirt and blue jacket) and he told me ONE of the things he does (among many) is that he comes and checks out the paparazzi situation before Daniel arrives, among assisting Daniel, etc.
he used the words ‘I do PR for them”…
That is what I heard out of his mouth.
I have seen the collection of pics of him arriving at the R and K garage and it seems to be a little weird that Daniel walked ahead of everyone?
In fact in one picture it shows him putting out his hand to the crowd rto say “back off?”
Why wasnt there someone in front of him?
Am I the only one who thinks that Daniel doesnt think sometimes, he just goes as does something?
Seems impatient to me.
