Daniel Craig Needs New York ‘Defiance’
007 favorite Daniel Craig and long-time love Satsuki Mitchell (in Alexander McQueen) attend The Cinema Society screening of Defiance on Monday (January 12) in New York City.
We last saw the 40-year-old actor premiering the film in Paris last week.
Daniel talked to Jay Leno about keeping some things hidden, saying, “I have a couple of tattoos where you’d see them. There’s another where you wouldn’t. It’s hidden away! I had them done when I was 16 or 17. It was a rebellion thing. Make-up artists have a nightmare with them though because they continually have to cover them up. I don’t regret them, you can’t. It’s a personal thing.”

But it was also 17 degrees out, and that did NOT include the wind chill.. need i say more #500 ??? LOL! LOL! LOL!
Yes, Daniel did walk out in front in the pics, but what is NOT in the pics is the security guys for the show or the studio who were there before Daniel got there, and they - 2 of them- were in front of Daniel, at the edge of the garage, making sure no one rushed Daniel or it got too messy.
But they were absolutely in front of daniel, bec one of them was right in front of me. the other one was on the other side.
You can see 1 of them in photo # 6 on the Splash news site- i think there are 6 pics of the garage signing and this little man with the white hair was one of the security guards.
Then dan had his 2 guys there…whatever yu want to call them- the bald guy and the guy with the white shirt- the one i spoke to before Daniel arrived.
This whole thing lasted a bout 15-20 seconds max and then Daniel ran back into his car and left quickly.
he was signing so fast, just like scribbling on whatever paper was infront of him. you couldn’t even read it.
one of the other people showed me their autograph…it was scribble!! LOL!

Minder is a Brit term - I have heard it in afew movies.
To add the my above post, he probably wouldnt know what to do with a decent pair of breasts anyway after 4 years with Satsuki.

I was not sure if it was a brit term or not.
Over here in the US, I know the term to mean, someone who watches over a “slow or retarded person”- or someone like that. like a nanny for someone who is incapable of doing things on their own or incompetant- or it could even mean watching over a child.
OK.PEOPLE..LETS NOT GO THERE…(I can hear what some people are saying to themselves as i type this…LOL!LOL!)
I did not and do not connotate the word “minder” to mean what the Brit term is.

I’m exhausted just reading about what the guy has had to go through for the last 3 or 4 months. I think he just wants to get back home and relax with his family and friends like he talks about. He probably seemed in a rush because that’s all he could think about once he finished this last interview.

he has taken time off and lots of little breaks and trips around the globe…far off locales , exotic ports, etc etc.

I guess it just has been particularly grueling for him, 6 weeks in the frozen russian (?) woods filming Defiance, the 6 months of filming Bond- and gettting the stuffing beat out of him,e tc.
plus the constant travel and living out of a suitcase.

Just wanted to throw this tidbit out… I went to Walmart last weekend (it’s not my favorite store but they were having a sale on things I wanted) Anyhoo, they had DVDs for $5, $10, $13, etc. in different bins. Since I’m pretty cheap, I headed straight for the $5 bin, and lo and behold there was a copy of “Archangel” waiting to be bought!! I grabbed it on my way to the checkout - well after I came out of my stupor looking at DC face on the cover… ;)
I don’t know if all the Walmarts have the same selection of DVDs - but you might look around.
