Daniel Craig Needs New York ‘Defiance’
007 favorite Daniel Craig and long-time love Satsuki Mitchell (in Alexander McQueen) attend The Cinema Society screening of Defiance on Monday (January 12) in New York City.
We last saw the 40-year-old actor premiering the film in Paris last week.
Daniel talked to Jay Leno about keeping some things hidden, saying, “I have a couple of tattoos where you’d see them. There’s another where you wouldn’t. It’s hidden away! I had them done when I was 16 or 17. It was a rebellion thing. Make-up artists have a nightmare with them though because they continually have to cover them up. I don’t regret them, you can’t. It’s a personal thing.”

also a statement by Daniel’s office stated he would gladly appear on Johnathon Ross’s TV show.

Clooney dated Sarah for a few months Daniel and Sats have been together for 4 years and still going strong even stronger now. So you can’t compare the 2 couples at all.
Yes Satsuki is beautiful, but it would be great to see her having a bit of a life of her own, using the talent and intelligence she is suppose to have. All she seems to do is follow Daniel where ever he goes.

Is it me or does Lainey sound a little fed up with ‘ever present Satsuki Mitchell’?? I mean everybody knows now that you can’t get Daniel without Satsuki. They are a package so to speak, but if you push something in peoples faces then they will soon lose interest and get bored.

I got another angle on this… there were at least two “gossips” that turned out to be wrong (for at least the time allowed for the facts to happen) - the marriage and the pregnancy. I would think that Lainey prides herself on getting the best scopes and having the best contacts. Right now, it seems that she can’t get any good leads on their relationship so she seems to be bored with them.

Although all the dislikers of her probably think the same, after all, thin line between love and hate right? When people hate with so much intensity, there is actually admiration and passion underneath. I mean if you don’t care at all there is NO passion and what I see on here is vehemently passion all around.
But I would love to know the obvious change in dynamics. You can almost pinpoint the time.

I don’t think whoever is with him will get an easy time of it. If Heike were on his arm, she would be bashed mercilessly too. It’s the fact she is NOT with him that some people like her. Now if he were to get back with her, give it awhile and Heike would be in the same boat as Satsuki.
Being a gf of a famous sexy man is not an easy one, it maybe a cushy job but be prepared to stripped of everything that remains sacred.
But on the other hand, threads like this and gossip sites, do they really affect them? I don’t think so, not in their Ivory Towers.

Well, it was obviously before the QOS royal premiere. Still strange when I look back on that night - it truly was a night to remember for a lot of people. I really had to do some soul-searching on how I felt. On one hand I was happy because it showed that they were a true couple, but on the other hand I was angry at Dan because I loss some respect for him in dealing with his love for Sats. Unless he was told not to show any emotion or that he didn’t want all the publicity to their relationship… but no matter - it really meant a turning point.
The bottom line was that I was in love with James Bond and not so much with Daniel Craig and seemed to fantasize about that role. Sats was so easy to ignore because I really knew nothing about her or their relationship (or I didn’t want to). They seemed odd together (still do). Then I went and bought as many of his former movies before Bond that I could and then proceeded to watch them. I came away with really nothing other than he is a great actor. I’m sure he’s happy with that conclusion! But I’ve watched QOS 8 times in the theater and have played CR many, many times. So there ya go!

Is there any more premieres for Defiance?
Yes for a lot of people that night was the turning point and the recent holiday was the breaking point.
Their privacy is something they call on their terms it seems, (their perogative I guess) but it is a very strange turn of events still.
There was a complete public 180 from him and even I was baffled.
I thought of so many reasons and the only one I could reasonably come to terms with is that he is no longer apprehensive to show his feelings and Satsuki is evidently glowing because of it.
I have never seen her smile as much.
No thats it. just a few TV appearances.

I do think though he might put an appearence in at the Bafta’s in Feb. I have a strong feeling Defiance will get a few nods. The Bafta’s being British and they just adore him. Maybe he might get another nod for Bond?
The Oscars I have my doubts about. It depends on what the nod is for Defiance.
Who is beauty? Who is the Beast? Guess. Satsuki looks like scare man also she is the Beast! Daniel is hunk. Also Hunk and Beast! Not right couple. Brangelina is perfect couple and best adepts to marry at the sooner. Fergie and Josh were married Saturday,all the best for them. Fergie is very beautiful woman and very simply, not affected.

No, I did not take any pics.
i do not have a camera on my cell phone.
i did not take photos.
i was outside and the studio is on the ground floor, so when they are filming/interviewing, people can just look right into the studio.
Many people were there taking pictures, flashes going off.
I just looked right into the studio from the big glass window and they ahve Daniel and Matt lauer sitting there in charis, talking, interviewing. And you can see the entire studio and cameras, etc. from the street.
From the sidewalk, I was behind daniel, sort of on an angle. his back was facing the galss window and the street, so obviously he was not looking at the outside window, but he was facing the cameras.
