Daniel Craig Needs New York ‘Defiance’
007 favorite Daniel Craig and long-time love Satsuki Mitchell (in Alexander McQueen) attend The Cinema Society screening of Defiance on Monday (January 12) in New York City.
We last saw the 40-year-old actor premiering the film in Paris last week.
Daniel talked to Jay Leno about keeping some things hidden, saying, “I have a couple of tattoos where you’d see them. There’s another where you wouldn’t. It’s hidden away! I had them done when I was 16 or 17. It was a rebellion thing. Make-up artists have a nightmare with them though because they continually have to cover them up. I don’t regret them, you can’t. It’s a personal thing.”

Your reply is interesting to me. Your interest in Daniel was more for the character of Bond rather than the man himself?
If the man disappoints then your interest in the characters he plays is not affected?
For me, it’s the other way around. Because of his behavior recently and the whole St Barth’s thing, I am reassessing my fondness for him.
So because of that, I can’t bear to watch him on screen.

IMHO, she’s just irritated and/or bored with them singlarly and as a couple.
You have to admit it’s almost an overkill with all the premieres and the holiday pics that came out. I think many, including his most die-hard fans have OD’d. :D
But, maybe we’re seeing the REAL Daniel Craig, now that he seems comfortable with his celebrity and his relationship with Sats. If some of us have a problem with it - maybe we didn’t really know him at all.

It may be hard to see, lots of short cuts, but You will see a cop, dressed in black, standing off to the left, on the corner. he is on daniel’s right.
Anyway, i am behind him.
THe people you see waving and holding signs were to my left.
They were behind a barricade and they could get onto the camera shot.
I was not behind the barricade and the cop was right in front of me, -
Daniel and Matt were sort of sitting elevated up on a platform, so it was not hard to see them. And they ahd tv screens above so you could look at them on the tv too, as well as look into the studio.

I’ve always been a Bond fan, so whomever is in that role I like - but I really like DC (he is slowly overtaking Sean in my affections). :D
The other roles are interesting… Daniel’s a great actor, but I didn’t get all “hot and bothered” over his performances in the other movies. Let’s just say I didn’t want to take a cold shower like after I watch CR and coming home from QOS, or even ponder the meaning of his acting, but instead I just politely clap my appreciation. :?
