Bride Wars actress Anne Hathaway stands out in a feather fringe dress by Chanel Haute Couture at the 2008 National Board of Review awards gala at Cipriani in New York City on Wednesday. The 26-year-old actress finished off her look with Chanel pumps and Bulgari jewels.
Anne recently told People about her Golden Globes look, saying, “My stylist amassed a few options, and this was the one I liked the best. It’s corseted in the right places.” She also talked about her upcoming year, saying, “My New Year’s resolution was to do something new every day. Eleven days into it, I tried Scotch for the first time, I won a Critics’ Choice Award and on [The Jimmy Kimmel Show!] I put out a birthday cake with a fire extinguisher!”

She looked so pretty in ‘Princess Diaries’ but after that, she wears tons of eye makeup which makes her look like Liza Minelli or a clown.

That dress has to be one of the most hideous dresses I’ve seen in my life. The fact that is Chanel Haute Couture doesn’t automatically makes it pretty. I agree Chanel has produced great fashion, but this is really ugly.

I agree with several comments.. Anne is not beautiful. She has a good fashion sense, but that does not equal beauty.. She reminds me of Katie Holmes.. They both seem to be trying hard to become this big fashion icon.. She has great skin but there is something off about her mouth… It is really big..
I saw Rachel Getting Married.. Terrible movie.. Anne was very good in it.. but the movie overall was just not good at all.

My daughter who is 14 loved the Princess Diaries. I haven’t seen Bride Wars though, will wait for it to come out on DVD. Was Bride Wars any good?
