Katie Holmes Miu Miu Ad — FIRST LOOK!
Katie Holmes is featured in Miu Miu’s spring/summer 2009 campaign, which shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in New York last November.
The 30-year-old actress rocks out one of Miuccia Prada’s graffiti-spattered day dresses in the ad, which was supposed to depict a “luminous icon radiating a sense of mystery and theatricality.”
UK’s Vogue explains the look was inspired by the films of Italian film director Federico Fellini.

Seeing the photo spread above of Posh, I cannot figure out how Katie Holmes thinks she can get away with such a blatant rip-off attempt of someone’s else look and style. It is SO not her, requires a ridiculous amount of forced effort, nothing like what her style and appearance was before meeting Victoria just a few short years ago, to the point I’m uncomfortable even witnessing it.
It’s like something out of ‘Single White Female’. Just one more bizarre and creepy thing to add to the TomKat list. Katie Holmes must have been such a vapid, mindless blank slate before hooking up with Cruise, with no personality or opinions of her own–and obviously continues to be so.

Enough with the Posh comparisons. Katie had the pixie cut BEFORE Posh. Having said that, I do prefer her with longer hair, but she looks great in this ad.
Also, Tom and Katie are the ones who introduced the Beckhams to Armani, so the Beckhams should be thankful for that.
i used to like miu miu when i was a teen,but now their clothes are just as same as prada’s. anyway, it’s a good ad. she looks really good. can’t wait to see more
Katie just doesn’t have the model face. She looks like her dad and so has this hound dog face –droopy look, droopy eyes, bags under eyes. I just don’t find her pretty in the least bit. Sure, she’s taller than the average woman but that’s about it.

it doesn’t matter how good photoshop has managed to make her look (her tree trunk thighs are now mere saplings and don’t even get me started on her suddenly c-cup boobies…..), the fact of the matter is, people CAN’T STAND this freak. if anything mui mui will lose business by having her model their line. people DO NOT want to emulate katie holmes in any way; clothing taste, relationships with husband etc., mothering style, etc etc etc. she’s a fashion and lifestyle DON’T!
i think “TC” had an intreresting theory….mui mui is making fun of her robot reputation! that would be so awesome and pure genius on their part….
