Daniel Craig looks serious and poised during a photocall for the movie Defiance in Munich, Germany on Friday.
Director Edward Zwick was also on-hand for the media opp.
The 40-year-old actor recently talked about the effect of playing James Bond has had on his career, saying, “Of course it’s had a very positive effect on the way things are. I’ve got two successful movies on my back as it stands at the moment, very successful movies. It’s made things a little easier in many respects, (but) ultimately there’s only a finite number of good scripts out there. There’s only a finite number of interesting subjects. You have to go looking for it. Something doesn’t just stop coming to you. I get more offers but not necessarily offers of good stuff.”

Press calls and premieres are two different things. Press calls are pure PR in promoting a movie attended only by persons involved with said movie. Premieres are just a gala event surrounding a movie that persons not associated with the said movie can attend.
But it certainly would be refreshing if she wasn’t paraded around so much during the premieres. But for right now there is no going back because if she WASN’T at the premieres now, all people both here and in the press would talk about the breakup (and pretty much nothing else, overshadowing the movie/premiere itself). They, as a couple, have made premiere showings a joint venture, a partnership, a team effort, etc. that there is no other way to get either one really alone. :(
Not until they split privately and he does a movie without her and then turns up. There will always be the talk overshadowing a movie if she isnt there..he cant win.

And she seems to be one powerful presence. Or as one article said “omnipresent” (def. adj. present in all places at all times). IF she was a little less noticeable, maybe the “venom” would subside a bit - but she’s everywhere, or so it seems - IMHO, the more I see of her the more I want to be more critical, and I’ve been pretty critical of late… but I really would rather not comment on her at all.
Which means I should just shut up and enjoy Dan in his singular glory right now… I’ll keep one eye closed to shutout the cardigan…

WOW he is wearing Jonas Brothers, he looks hot the jb look hot, its a good look for good lookig ppl only ok.
I would love to go see this movie, it looks exciting, but with all that going on in the Middle East and the hatred toward Israel - who is just defending herself - going to a Holocaust movie makes me feel like a sitting duck… people can be crazy nowadays.

He is really enjoying the limelight at the moment.
He is not really happy deep down inside & that is why he loves games. It is his escape from reality.
He looks forward trying to connect to new friend, like a good game of chess.
He likes a challenge , as well.
Games give him a way to destress, unwind & forget his problems.
He has a lot going on in his mind right now.
He really is not as happy as he pretends to be , although he loves all the attention.
It will be the driving force behind his career. The love of acting is there too , along with the money, but he really likes the attention, even though the schedule & lifestyle are quick paced & gruelling most of the time.
I sense he feels some sort of special connection to his new friend in particular , but he doesn’t know why.
This is driving him crazy.
This is the Karmic or past life connection , but he does not realize this.
He is very drawn to her.
Discretion is very important to him.
He is like an up & coming star , but I feel his carreer will be short lived. Just a few more years.
I am getting a 5 with this & feel 5 years or so & people won’t really hear about him too much.
I believe it is at this time, when his life will be much more quite that he will take a chance and marry, and I sense it will be with his new friend.
He plays chess on set, I read it somewhere, he beats Michael G Wilson when he is on the Bond set.
A lot of what you are saying are things anyone can really deduce, I’m sorry. I read he plays chess and he likes games in a book or article once, esp computer games.
I think he is not 100% happy deep down and I don’t have a “gift”.
I also said recently to a friend that he will do one more Bond and that’s it. I think he will retire or just disappear somewhere.
I think he will have had enough of the spotlight as well but these are gut feelings.
