Ricky Martin: I Cried Tears of Joy!
Ricky Martin steps out for a rare appearance in public as he braves the sub-freezing temperatures in New York to grab a cup of coffee on Friday.
Perhaps his twins are keeping him up at night? His twins boys, Valentino and Matteo, are now 5-months old!
About his experience with parenthood, he said, “I was involved from day one in the pregnancy and I was there when my sons were born. It was beautiful. There were tears of joy and it was really fascinating. I was sweating the first time I held them because I was so nervous!”

Ew, even if he doesn’t smoke around his kids, he still smokes and he will smell like smoke. Plus, smokers are really stupid, self-centerd people who are addicted to a legal drug and don’t give a damn about the fact that they are harming/killing innocent people who have to breath in their toxic air. Nothing is cute or sweet about that. period.

Here is a good man out shopping for his babies…his free time…pictures being taken without permission and yet, after not looking too happy at first (and I don’t blame him) he takes time to acknowledge the photographers with an “I see you” look and even smiles! Geez…most celebrities would be throwing punches! As for smoking…a lot of people do and it’s not an easy habit to break.
For those who are unaware, Ricky’s career is going as well as ever…his last tour was fantastic! As for his children…they were wanted, are well cared for, very much loved and all his…nobody can file for custody of those babies or half of Ricky’s money! ( Egg donor+Ricky’s sperm~IVF-gestational surrogacy -the woman who gave birth is no relation to the babies.)
Ricky is a wonderful person and an amazing father. Some of the comments here are so negative. His personal life is his business and Ricky is achieving so much in helping to stop child trafficking. God bless you Ricky…you’re amazing and I love you :D

What is the big deal about if he smokes? It is his business not anyone else’s especially the ones who have mentioned his smoking in their comments on here. Just because Brad Pitt stopped smoking doesn’t mean everyone else in the world has to and that includes Ricky. He is a 37 year old man who makes his own decisions and choices so BACK OFF HIS BACK AND WORRY ABOUT YOUR OWN LIFE.
I saw him in concert many years ago. He does a good job at making eye contact with as many people as he can in his audience. He also gave a little speech about how no matter what you do for a living/job, it all counts. It was very sweet, he has a way of making people feel good about themselves. I think he’ll be a great dad.

Your an ass, it takes to to tangle and any person who walks away from there child get no emotion from me she a ***** just like you. But my point is he is a good single father, that men can make much better parent than women but you missed that. Everyone alway saying how children need mothers, they need love and safety no matter who they are getting it from. I sorry but i am tried of women always playing the victims and men being seen as evil pervs. Not every guy who wants kids is gay, just like women walk around saying they dont need a man to complete them why can’t men feel the same without being gay.
Look, there is nothing wrong with Ricky being gay and nothing wrong with him wanting to be a father, even if it means accomplishing it clinically (like thousands of infertile hetero couples have to do). Why is such a big deal being made of this?

Like how some woman refer to ex-boyfriends as ‘a sperm donor’, is Ricky doing the same thing and saying ’surrogate mother’. When in fact this other peson was a partner?
He disappeared from the U.S scene when the rumors that he was gay got hot and heavy, but he’s still popular in his own country, i think. In this day and age you’d think that closet would be empty.

However, I do believe he gave an interview announcing the birth, therefore it is reasonable that people would talk about it and asked questions. Now there are those ‘first pictures’ of the babies that are out. If he really wanted to be private, he would have kept it ALL out of the mags, he didn’t have to participate.
Wow, what cynical,snide and really nasty comments about a man you don’t know on a personal, one on one basis. He is an entertainer and a fantastic singer to boot. He has a really big heart, that is filled with compassion on a scale most of your wee bitty black jaded hearts could never comprehend. Beyond entertaining the masses that appreciates his gift, his personal life is absolutely no ones business but his own. Have you ever had to have your insignificant lives picked apart on a daily basis? Have you ever had to have your every action picked apart to suffer humiliations at every turn. Do any of you every try to have a normal quite moment to yourself and have some jerk try to document it for public speculation and ridicule. Do any of you ever use your name, fame, time and money to make a small difference in your immediate community. Ricky does this on a regular basis, but when he does something for himself to have a bit of normalcy in his chaotic life its met with malice, bigotry and utter contempt. I have to ask? Who’s behavior needs to analyzed. Really… If he is gay or not, he doesn’t have to allow any of you [people] and I use the term very loosely, access to his inner person, his spirit or soul. that he obviously saves for people who he loves, trust and truly care for him as a caring, smart, feeling human being. I still think that he is gorgeous; age, smoking, gay or not, single dad or not. From somebody who grew up with my parents married but constantly fighting, I think that it would have been a lot more healthy for my siblings and me to have grown up with one parent than to live in the world of fighting and screaming and yelling that we did. Why would he lie about being an involved parent? And if you remember right, he kept this quiet for some time. If and when the babes get older and he starts being seen out and about with them, people would talk and speculate. Plus, why not share his joy with the world if that is what he wanted to do. Two of the best fathers that I have ever known were gay men, “a couple” and they adopted HIV and drug exposed babes from foster care that otherwise would have probably lived in residential facilities. They loved these kids and gave them tons of unconditional love and happiness. I say more power and congratulations to him!!!
Has any one noticed that these pics are from 3 different times? He has on different coats. Oh no, does that mean that he has been out 3 times w/o the babies? What a horrible father for not dragging those little ones out in the cold!!
The obvious is gay, but that does not say is the best time, as everyone knows, children have a mother and a father, not a single gay father.
