Daniel Craig Has Two Hands in His Pockets
James Bond actor Daniel Craig fits his hands in his snug pockets as he smiles for cameras at the photocall for his movie Defiance in Rome, Italy on Sunday.
Director Edward Zwick also stopped by for the photo opp.
The 40-year-old English actor was recently voted the most convincing action man of 2008 according to Hello magazine, beating out Shia LaBeouf, Christian Bale, Robert Downey Jr., James McAvoy, Brendan Fraser, Ben Barnes, Mark Wahlberg, Will Smith and Harrison Ford.
DO YOU THINK Daniel Craig is the best action actor out there - YAY or NAY?

Daniel does have the attitude of being as proud as a peacock in the Photocall pictures… BUT not when he is out with her, like at the Rome Hat Shop.
he looks totally “over it”, downtrodden, and fed up, coming out of the hat shop with all of the fans/crowd.
She is loving this though!
I believe that Daniel is aware!! and I am sure he has been told by others, friends and close confidantes, and he is very extremely aware.
But there is not much he can do until after this Press/Pap/premiere show is over.
He may not take any actions UNTIl they return to London and this Pap Show/Premiere Red Carpet stuff dies down.
And i totally agree with 47- that SatSNOOP has heard the break up rumors and she is putting on a huge campaign for the paps and fans that she is so happy. even when she is pushing a luggage cart at the airport ,……..
She is going to wage a war against the Break-up rumors and launch this “I AM SO HAPPY” campaign..
But if you look at Daniel, he is not going along with her plan at all.

it looks like he feels drained dry….and I can see this. There was a post about her draining his money and spending his money like water.
without a doubt you can see this in his face.
I just hear she very very driven and while there is nothing wrong with that, I think it is taking a slow steady toll on him. Probably demands to meet people in the business, being on set, and he agrees to help her but…
…the people in the center of the storm are always the last to admit it but maybe he is slowly realizing her effect?

The real life hero of DANIEL CRAIG’s new movie DEFIANCE has been accused of conning a woman out of $250,000 (GBP167,000).
Aron Bielski and his brothers rescued more than 1,000 jews from the Nazis in Poland during the Second World War. Their achievements are portrayed in the new movie; with Bielski, now 81, played by actor George MCKay.
But the retiree has landed in trouble in Palm Beach, Florida, where cops claim he swindled 93-year-old Janina Zaniewska.
According to the New York Daily News, Bielski - who now calls himself Aron Bell - has agreed to pay the money back to Zaniewska.
Defiance director Ed Zwick says of his movie’s subject, “(The Bielski brothers’) moral compass at times was askew. Aron is a survivor. When he was a child, he learned to do what he had to do.”

I agree, definitely taking its toll as others have noticed this as well.
She wants the limelight now, and to be the celebrity, and he MAY feel that if that is what she wants to do, and she helped him out this whole time (or whatever she has done for him, personal assistant, travel agent, reservatins, maid, etc etc. etc.) then maybe he feels obligated to let her run away with this “spotlight on her/papparazzi game” thing…at least while they are on the road.
I do believe that once he gets back to London, back home, he is going to want to just rest and be left alone.
i think he is just going to want to take a deep breath and no more papparrazi chasings for a while.
But She, on the other hand, once she has gotten a taste for this “In The Spotlight like a Celebrity” life, she is going to want more and more.
She will want to go out and be seen and be in the press and be in front of the paps all the time. The ATTENTION is too good, too alluring, too tempting, for her NOT to court the paps and press when she gets back to London.
I do not think he is going to want to go along with this.
After all, DANIEL is the MOVIE STAR,/Celebrity, that is who everyone wants to see……. she is no better than Sarah Larson was to George Clooney.

I used to drool over him but since he turned 40, he’s not working for me anymore, not sure why??
used to be quite into him and found the gf a little interesting and enviable but as of the last year i have gone off him as i think he is turning into a big headed “look at me” idiot.
i think fame and money has affected him and in these days of people scrimping and saving, he really is splashing it about..
lost respect for him but i dont think he would be as visible if she wasnt there, i think he would not be as high profile
i agree with a previous poster who said he may have “lost his marbles” a bit, fame is fleeting and i know he maybe making the most of it but i dont like him really anymore

It’s not that he turned 40 which was almost a year ago . . . it’s the overexposure. He went from hot to average. All the talk about his gf not being pretty . . .I have come to think she is the prettier of the two with the constant PR.

I don’t agree at all.
THe JAMES BOND franchise made him totally visible- globally visible- and then he Broke the records and had everyone raving about Casino Royale.
Then he became even more globally visible.
He Refreshed and Revived the James Bond franchise and he did that with his own skills and talent.
perhaps she is so “odd” loooking that she makes an interesting conversation piece, like a coffee table book would be.
Her being in the press so much, and gluing herself down his side, down the Red Carpet events make people dissect her and analyze both of them even more.
I do not like to have non-celebrities- such as this Sat-what-the-hell-is-it called OR a Paris Hilton jammed down my throat.
Daniel Craig is a Celebrity in his own right. he made his own name and has a God-given incredible talent, and extremely gifted man.
The girl is trying to hang onto his coattails and shove herself into every photo op…like “HERE I AM , I AM THE STAR”-
What she does not realize is that people, and many of Daniels fans, do not respect someone just because they sleep with the star, are their partners, or are their assistant.
She is trying so hard to get Famous by Association. And she is praying that it will work.
I think the attention that she is getting is the Wrong attention. it is the same attention that Sarah larson got with Clooney. She always walked the red carpet with him.
Then he dumped her.
NOW Sarah Larson can’t even get arrested! (SatGolddigger take note!!…)
Currently some websites are saying she has offered herself to any celebrity to be their “girlfriend” as long as they take her out to the red carpet events and the parties, etc.

Ok, got it now. I think just got what you meant-
And if I am thinking the same as you are thinking, (that without her, he would be “laying low” much much more)-
then i totally absolutely agree with you. wholeheartedly.
And i must say, although there were not as many public/day to day photos of him before this Press/Pap Onslught, I liked it a lot better.
He had more of a mystery,plus his natural coolness and natural edge.

So, in light of all of this, I just called my friend Camilla Morton, author of How To Walk In High Heels, and A Year in High Heels, and general high-end fashion muse (as opposed to my being a high street fashion muse) to ask her for her tips on how to walk the red carpet. After she pulled herself to gether having almost knocked herself out with her mobile phone - getting a call form me has that effect on people - she gave me hear pearls of wisdom. Just in case any of you out there are practising-red-carpet-attendees:
1. Every celeb knows they have to arrive as close to the red carpet as possible! To navigate your way through a sea of bemused pedesterians holding Macdonald’s wrappers kind of flattens the wow element of surprise.
2. Always wear flesh coloured underwear - flashlights expose everything.
3. If attending with someone give them the ticket, coat, handbag, and excess paraphernalia to hold.
4. If you spot someone in the same outfit as you upstage the offender with a more glamourous pose.
5. Link arms with someone more famous than you are …(or worse case scenario, if she is the big star and wearing the same dress as you, link arms with designer of said dress and act as the muse…)
6. Always, always have mints or tictacs in your bag … to kiss anyone with bad breath is sooo not fashion
7. Always go heel first onto the red carpet because if you trip, that photo will haunt you for rest of your days…

All this promotion and the film is still doing badly. Do you think he is losing he star power? If so I wonder how Babs must feel. Maybe Satsuki will be the next Bond girl.
As they say in tinsle town. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS BAD PUBLICITY. In Sarah Larsan’s case there is not publicity so she has faded into the wood work but Satsuki has major publicity so she is getting known by many. It may get her in the door but then she will have to prove herself and she just might. Daniel has always said she is very smart and for those who think she is manipulative, she may be that but in the end she will get her way as long as she delivers and that could mean anything.
While she’s no longer dating a movie star, model and Reality TV contestant Sarah Larson is certainly enjoying the Sundance Film Festival.
Celebuzz spotted the 30-year-old George Clooney ex at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel’s Smashtime party at the Hollywood Life House on Main Street last night.
“She was partying pretty hard,” said a source, “going wild at Hard Rock, drinking and dancing.”
Clooney and Larson split in May of last year, with initial reports saying 47-year-old George dumped the beauty (who managed a spread in Harper’s Bazaar under their relationship tenure).
Soon after the break-up, Larson was seen out and about with a former flame, a Las Vegas-based editor for 944 magazine named Ryan Doherty.
We can reveal the two are certainly still spending time.
“Sarah was grinding on Ryan all night, her legs wrapped around his waist, massaging the small of his back,” said the spy.

Like I said when they were in St. Bart’s, Defiance will bomb, and that is exactly what it is doing!!!
Let me tally up my predictions once again:
They are not married - I was right.
They never went to Hawaii - I was right.
They would not marry on NYE - I was right.
Sats was not pregnant - I was right.
Sats did not have a miscarriage or abortion - I was right.
Defince would bomb - I was right.
There would be no announcement of a wedding - I was right.
If anyone bothers to pay attention to me, especially since all my predictions have been correct: He will never marry her, They will never have children together, and He will leave her by the end of the year or by mid-2010. Bond 23 premiers, he will not be with her.
Once he leaves her, we will never see her again.
Once he is finished playing Bond, he will rarely be seen anymore, and unless he does a comeback act, will fade into the background.
I’m not a psychic, but I have incredible intuition :)
