Daniel Craig Has Two Hands in His Pockets
James Bond actor Daniel Craig fits his hands in his snug pockets as he smiles for cameras at the photocall for his movie Defiance in Rome, Italy on Sunday.
Director Edward Zwick also stopped by for the photo opp.
The 40-year-old English actor was recently voted the most convincing action man of 2008 according to Hello magazine, beating out Shia LaBeouf, Christian Bale, Robert Downey Jr., James McAvoy, Brendan Fraser, Ben Barnes, Mark Wahlberg, Will Smith and Harrison Ford.

I think this psychic has not helped if there WAS another woman on the horizon. This “friend” probably took one look at how gf’s in his life are treated and couldn’t get away quickly enough.

i wanted to see more of the community they established with the hospital, the school etc. i also wanted to see more of the little brother; aron. he was there as well. aron survived with tuvia and zus. i would think he fought along side with them. i wish they had brought out more of him charachter wise. i just got the feeling the writers threw him in there because they had to

Yes, I’d also loved to have seen more of the community. And Aron seemed to disappear during the film; at the beginning, we saw more of him, and then he only appeared as the look-out occassionally.
Who I also really found interesting was the character of Bella, Zus’ ‘forest wife’. She wasn’t your typical weak female, but it still shocked me when she was involved in the killing of the German soldier in the camp. I’d have really loved to have found out more about her history. She was far more interesting than Lilka (Tuvia’s love interest).

i can see why you would be bothered by the killing of the german solder in camp. but somehow i don’t think that he was your everyday regular german solder, i think he was SS; who as we both know were not “nice” people to deal with. these people took out their anger, hatred, frustration, and grief at the loss of loved ones on this one man.
you’re right about bella; they fleshed her out more than they did lilka. that’s another problem with the writing. i never who she really was or why she chose tuvia. another thing i noticed, at least from the people i talked to about the movie, is how upset some of the movie goers were with the term “forest wife”. don’t ask me why.
