Actually, I agree that Kate Winslet came across as overly gushing and false at the globes. Also she has a passive-aggressive way of fishing for compliments like when she said to the ET crew, ” 2 wins, for both catagories, I don’t think that’s happened before, has it?”
Give me a break.
I am so mad! Leonardo isn’t nominated, and Kate isn’t either for Revolutionary Road!
Hope Brad and Angelina will not win.
Congrats to everyone nominated.
I just have to say though that while everyone is happy that Brad and Angelina received noms, I doubt that either one of them will win, and their respective movies won’t do too well. While they are both great actors, they are just going up against too many great actors/actresses/movies to stand a chance. Maybe TCCBM will win one, but I just dont see Brad winning against Penn or Rourke, and Jolie winning against Streep or Winslet
I am glad that Angie and Brad are nominated for their movies because not only they are critically recognized through those nominations but also because their movies while getting good critics and awards are also the very few one in their genre that are commercially success too.

All the movies niominated will get a boost financially because of it.

I want to see slumdog and will very soon.

Concerning Leo, i haven’t seen Revolutionary Road but i saw Body of Lies and though very violent, it was a good, clearly underrated.

I hope Brad and Angie do not win, cant stand those 2 fakes.
I loved Brad pre-angie
Taraji P. Henson FOR THE WIN!!
I WISH BRAD AND ANGELINA NOT WIN!!!!!!!!!!
Yall are a bunch of *******. I only agree with ice’s comment.
Angelina is a cheating ***** who was drunk at the golden globes and doesn’t deserve anything besides a makeover
RR and Leo got snubbed, Winslet deserved two.
Winslet could act better than Jolie in her sleep and clearly does. She’s got the roles and the acclaimed awards to prove. So shut the **** up
Congratulations Brad and Angie they deserve it. The Curious case of Benjamin Button was good i loved it
I enjoyed Robert Downey Jr’s performance in “Tropic Thunder” but I certainly wasn’t thinking “He is going to get an Oscar nomination for for this.” LOL Still I like it when the Academy thinks outside the box like this and when they nominated Johnny Depp for “Pirates of the Carribean.”
I am disappointed the Clint Eastwood and the movie Gran Torino did not get nominated. I thought it was one of the best movies of the year.
Why Was RR snubbed?!!!
And Why was Leonardo DiCaprio snubbed AGAIN!!!
RR is one of the best movie EVER!!
GO ANGELINA GO ANGELINA GO ANGELINA
THE TIME FOR YOU IS NOW..
I HOPE YOY WILL SHUT MANY MOUTHS WITH YOUR OSCAR I PRAY ON IT…YOU ARE AMAZING ACTRESS..GO FOR IT

Damn! Leonardo gets snubbed once again! Well there’s always next year, he has like 3 new movies out in 2009 whcih are close to award season so cross your fingers Leo fans! Happy for Kate and Heath!
I want to see both kate movies and see which one is better. she was pretty sleezy in Little Children, though.
