OlderHayden Panettiere’s 911 Call Revealed
Hayden Panettiere recently had her license confiscated at NV Lounge, a nightclub in Suffern, New York, an hour outside Manhattan. The 19-year-old Heroes actress allegedly slipped in through a private side entrance to meet up with friends.
The owner of the nightclub tells Inside Edition that Hayden approached the main bar and ordered a drink. The bartender asked for ID and seeing she was under 21, confiscated her license. Then she and her friends were escorted out of the bar.
The owner of the club says Hayden was “very frustrated” and “annoyed” at having her license taken. The teen star phoned local police.

911 Operator: “What’s your name?”
Pannettiere: “Hayden…I went into a bar and I showed them my ID. They let me in and um…he took my ID and he won’t give it back.”
911 Operator: “What bar is it?”
Pannettiere: “NV.”
911 Operator: “NV?”
Pannettiere: “Yeah!”
911 Operator: “Ok, and he took your ID and they’re not going to give it back to you?”
Pannettiere: “Yeah, and I need to get on a plane in a couple of days and I really need my ID back…I live in California.”
911 Operator: “Ok, we have officers on the way.”
Pannettiere: “Thank you very much.”
Hayden was reportedly crying when she tried to get her ID back. She denied to authorities that she tried to buy a drink at the club. Police asked the club owner to return Hayden’s driver’s license.
The club owner says Hayden “is welcome to have dinner [at NV], but to party you have to be over 21.”

ok their not allowed to take your id. they can make a copy of it for their records but they cant keep it. its not like she has a fake id.
Thank you K ! I totally agree with you. People here are really overreacting to this news ! Please guys, get over yourselves, you’re not perfect and she’s not perfect. In fact NOBODY is perfect. I’m sure she’s not the only teen who ever tried to buy alcohol in the USA before the age of 21. She made a big mistake, she paid for it, she’s now publicly humiliated, I thinik it’s enough ! Let’s MOVE ON !

Jared left out a part. I read on E! that the club policy is to take away the ID and call cops to come but instead Hayden called 911first to get out of trouble.

maybe for a second she thought she was 31 (?) just like Milo. I hate it when all these little “kids” act like they can fool people in thinking they are much older. My cousins do it all the time and they’re still in high school. I get my ID checked my ID all the time because I look like I’m in high school which cracks me up because they don’t check the ones who truly are. I’m not saying she is in HS, but she should get off her high horse and wait 2 years. If she is such an adult, why the F is she whinning? Child.

This sounds fake, I agree. Wouldn’t the 911 operator tell you to go to hell if you called them for such a thing?
Plus she’s traveled around the world for promo and stuff. So she MUST have a passport. And she’s not carrying it… stupid.
i don’t think this story is true. but to be honest, even if this story had some amount of validity, i doubt she would be so stupid as to show an underage license on it and expect to be served a drink.

she shouldnt get her ID back b.c she was breaking the law!!! When i was trying to drink underage, my ACTUAL ID was taken (as is the law) and i didn’t get it back.. IT’S THE LAW!! if you’re trying to drink underage, you lose your ID (whether it be fake or not)

I read this “news” a week ago coz thats when it happened
she did NOT try to buy a drink and it was NOT the bartender who asked for her ID
in fact it was a security guard who saw her and her friends and thought she is underage - and he was right
that club doesnt allow underage people in it after a certain time
so he asked for her ID and when she gave it to him he thought it was fake, thats why he wanted to call the police first
but she was faster
other than that - keep calling her bad names
I really like it - just wanted to get this story straight

Was the drink alcoholic or just soda because I don’t see why she would show the bartender her ID knowing she was only 19…..thatg was pretty stupid of her. But if it was just soda or something then big flippin’ deal.
