Natalie Portman Attends Inauguration Party
Natalie Portman and a gal pal brave the rain as they take Nat’s dog for a walk in Los Angeles on Friday (January 23).
Slate recently honored Natalie with a “Social Egalitarian Oscar” for attending one of the Barack Obama inauguration parties and not isolating herself in one of the designated VIP areas.
“I assume it’s some of the celebrities themselves who demand protection from annoyingly non-famous invitees,” Slate says. “The system is to blame, I tell you.”

it’s true- why did she get an award for hanging out with us normal people? but that wasn’t HER fault. I think it was a great thing she did just being ONE OF US….it shows that she doesn’t think so highly of herself…which is a nice thing to see.
