Natalie Portman Attends Inauguration Party
Natalie Portman and a gal pal brave the rain as they take Nat’s dog for a walk in Los Angeles on Friday (January 23).
Slate recently honored Natalie with a “Social Egalitarian Oscar” for attending one of the Barack Obama inauguration parties and not isolating herself in one of the designated VIP areas.
“I assume it’s some of the celebrities themselves who demand protection from annoyingly non-famous invitees,” Slate says. “The system is to blame, I tell you.”

She’s cute, but c’mon she’s not over the top beautiful. There are actresses in hollywood that are much prettier than her. Oh puhleeeeze!!!!
janice, that bit about annoying non-celebs was SARCASM…b/c that’s how many celebs treat non-celebs or people or aren’t rich.
I can’t say for sure because I don’t know, but this “award” doesn’t sound like a real award. It just sounds like some magazine that liked the fact that Natalie wasn’t being uppity like a lot of others. It sounds like it’s just a “title” award like when mags do Best Dressed or Worst Dressed or Nicest Celeb in Hollywood type “awards.”

Wow, Natalie is wearing a Jakes Diner sweatshirt from Bend, Oregon. Did she eat there? Where did she get the sweat shirt? Jakes is the best diner in Central Oregon in my opinion….used to be a truck stop, but now only a diner. Great food and people.
