OlderNicole Kidman: G’Day Australia!
Nicole Kidman keeps close to director Baz Lurhmann at the G’Day Australia black tie gala (hosted by Jacob’s Creek) at New York City’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel on Friday (January 23).
At the event, Baz said that Nic had been quoted out of context.
“It’s been universally reported that she didn’t like the picture,” Baz said. “Forget nastiness, it’s just a lie. [She's a] great artist. It’s disappointing in our country that you have to put up with a lot of rubbish – people who just knowingly set out to be destructive when they know it’s not true. It will probably be the No. 2 or No. 3 biggest Australian movie of all times.”
And how cute is Baz holding up Brandon Walters, who plays one the aboriginal boys in Australia?

Katie is just two inches taller than tom but he forcing her to wear a redeculas high heels to look towers him like he was with kidman but gusse what tom nicole was and still 6 feet tall without high heals and katie not that much tall and we all know that

Honest #77 - Penelope’s family became very concerned after she dated Tom a while. They learned all about scientology. She and her dad are extremely close and he told her he was worried about her. She listened to her dad’s concerns and realized that there was no future for her and Tom because she would not follow the cult’s practices. I read that he wanted to marry her but she decided against it because of the cult.
Well, Tom lost 2 beautiful, talented, intelligent women because of his association with scientology and he gained a major untalented bimbo golddigger instead.
“Australia” was one of the nicest movies I have seen. I am an avid movie goer so I feel I have a feeling for good movies. “Australia” got a bad rap by the critics, but if I listened to the critics I would not see too many movies. It is probably not an Oscar movie, but it was a GREAT movie. Regarding the quote===== what a shame. I read the original statement from Nicole and she did not say what the media said. They construed her comments to make bad publicity. US magazine had a cute picture of Nicle and Sunday and then totally screwed up what Nicole said. When my subsciption expires, I will not be renewing US magazine. I knew it was a rag, but not a low rag. Nicole is a very fine actress, a sophisticated woman, a beautiful wife and mother. So sad people get their ‘jollies’ tearing down a good person.
This was not the event where Nicole and Keith met, They met at an Australian event in Los Angeles.

Ok, Nicole looks paler than usual, uncomfortable and her hair while it has some color for a change it’s very disheveled looking in fact Nicole as a whole looks extremely uncomfortable, out of place and not her usual perfect every hair in place. So where’s her hubby? He’s a celebrated Australian even though he was born in NZ, shouldn’t matter Australia has claimed him in the past as one of their’s just like Nicole was born in Hawaii. Especially since it’s such a special event marking the event where Nicole and Keith first met! Something’s not right with this picture.

Nicole does not criticize or attack people no matter what they do to her…even if they’ve hurt her deeply. I have never seen anything in her interviews that indicates she is criticizing anyone. One of her co-stars (Paul Bettany) describes her as “an angel” . Too bad some of the journalists and internet posters and bloggers attack her so viciously as I have heard many very positive comments about her from people who actually know her.
Nicole looks GORGEOUS! Love her dress! I hate that Nicole has become the whipping post for so many, because I think she’s a class act! She seems so happy married to Keith and I wish them the best!!
