OlderAshlee Simpson Defends Sister’s Weight Gain
Jessica Simpson’s recent weight gain has become all the buzz lately. Her little sister Ashlee has taken to her MySpace to vent her frustration:
“Since when did a woman’s weight become newsworthy… I am completely disgusted by the headlines concerning my sister’s weight. A week after the inauguration and with such a feeling of hope in the air for our country, I find it completely embarrassing and belittling to all women to read about a woman’s weight or figure as a headline on Fox News (”Jessica Simpson Shocks Fans With Noticeably Fuller Figure”.)
“All women come in different shapes, sizes, and forms and just because you’re a celebrity, there shouldn’t be a different standard. Is this something you would say to your wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, or even a friend? I seriously doubt it.
“How can we expect teenage girls to love and respect themselves in an environment where we criticize a size 2 figure? Now can we focus on the things that really matter. -Ash ”
Earlier today, one of Jessica’s trainers also defended her fuller figure.

I think people are criticizing Jessica more for her poor fashion choices than her “curves.” Those high waisted jeans with the double leopard belts would look bad no matter what size she was!

Honey, Jess has been comfort eating longer than a week. If this is the only way she can get her name in the news, well, have a side of biscuits and gravy on me.
well I think we have to face it: Jessica is fatter than before and she was never really thin so I guess we can say she’s fat now BUT people have nothing to do with it so I agree with Ashlee, just leave her alone! I wouldn’t feel good if I had her figure but good for her if she does
If she is a size 2, I am a size 4… and Im really a 14 right now. My butt looks like Jessicas… so whataver size she is I am.
Ashlee should just be happy there is a reason for her sister to get ANY publicity, If it werent for her fluxuating weight she would be a the chilli dog cook off with Taylor Hicks or something…
As for Ashlee she is only exploiting her sister and this story for her own 10 seconds of noteriety. Neither of these sisters have any tlent or skills. I hope Pete keeps writing songs and doing whatever he does to keep Ashlee in the news.
Didn’t Jessica lose weight for the Dukes of Hazard. She wasn’t complaining back then!

Hollywood women are blasted when they are too thin, and they are blasted when they put on weight. I am sure Jessica is incredibly hurt. Watch her lose a lot of weight, pronto.
I blame the pants! Jessica looks awful skinny, and why would ANYONE want to look unhealthy. too many girls in Hollywood look like they are starved. I think Jessica sets a good example with her body image, but I think the pants were a very bad choice of wardrobe for performing.
Ashlee looks like a fat chunky pig as well as Jessica. So ashlee should shut up. Jessica’s weight balloon up and down all the time why is everyone shocked. I’m sure Jessica is already on a strict diet and jumping around doing some exercising. Soon she will be back in a skimpy out fit showing her body after she has lost all of this weight.

Chestica and Assley are plastic blow up bimbos. They have plastic
noses, they have plastic boobs, they have plastic noses, wonder what else is plastic. They are polluting our environment with all their plastic, the EPA should sanction them for “NO MORE PLASTIC”. Chestica’s boyfriend looks feminine and of course, Assley’s husband looks like a black rat. Their poor baby probably looks like a mouse.
I wish they would melt in the sun and go down the drain into the ocean, never to be seen again. They are the most hated family in the USA. Move to China and take pervert Joe Simpson with you. Keep him away from the baby.

For once I really feel Ashlee on something. I’m so sick of people tearing down women’s bodies, whether they are a celebrity or not, and whether they are a size 4 or a 14. Nobody should be made to feel bad about how they look.. just imagine how crappy Jessica must feel. I’m sure she already KNOWS she is quite a bit heavier right now, but people talking smack about her isn’t gonna help the situation. And this is coming from someone who is not even a fan of Jessica or Ashlee. haha
Jessica is still beautiful and obviously a woman who’s weight fluctuates. Like most of us!
