Orlando Bloom: Sympathy for Delicious!
Orlando Bloom looks a big grungy, sporting a shaggy new wig and a hole-y t-shirt on the set of his new movie, Sympathy for Delicious, on Tuesday (January 27) in Los Angeles.
The film is about a newly paralyzed DJ (Christopher Thorton), who gets more than he bargained for when he seeks out the world of faith healing. The dramedy is being directed by Mark Ruffalo, who has starred in films like The Brothers Bloom, 13 Going on 30 and Reservation Road.

Forgot to say that I hope his characters calls for his normal accent and I wonder if he will have to sing.

Yay! He’s actually working again! This could really be a great opportunity to try something totally different and I’m really hoping he pulls it off. I think he can. He played ‘bad boy’ pretty well in that British t.v. series way back when he was just starting out. So go Orlando - I know you can do it!

Just because its not going to be some block buster/trilogie again doesnt mean its going to be automaticaly a low profile movie…..! I for one am happy to see that he is trying to do something different than the usual box ofice pleaser. I hope he’s not to rusty from the long break he’s taken tough….

To each his own. I think that he looks sexy. Just because you don’t, doesn’t mean that I am wrong. I have my opinion, you have yours. Checking out other web sites, it seems that many people agree with me.
And I like the fact that he doesn’t look like our usual Orlando. He might just shake some people up in this role.
As for New York I Love You, it will be in limited release starting next month. It would depend on the reviews, and the buzz generated as to whether it sees a larger release. Same with this new picture. It will probably open in limited release, and we will see what happens from there.

Mark Ruffalo, Laura Linney, Juliette Lewis are all “low profile”. what rock did you just crawl out from under? many people prefer seeing movies that dont require everything to blow up, nor does everyone prefer to only see movies that make more than 250 million dollars. i thought movies were supposed to be art too?

Seriously, does no one else see that that does NOT look like Orlando Bloom? His face looks all…wrong.
IMHO, orlando is a very good looking actor and no doubt about that. But his ability to draw audiences for a solo starrer movie is somehow on question. Or maybe it’s just the type of movie he chosed in the past that didn’t have a mass appeal or simply because there’s no good offer for him around that he is forced to do lowprofile/indie movies.
It’s always good to make a comeback movie which will be a box office hit…
What is with James’e fans being here bashing Orlando?HE not doing the movie get over it .Iam sure he will get other great parts to play.Or are Dephi loons here working over time?I think it is the latter I can’t imagine James Franco’s fans th being that mean it is Delphi loons style
