OlderJessica Alba Is Sweet On Sweden
Jessica Alba finishes up her singing and acting lessons on Tuesday (January 27) in Hollywood, Calif.
The 27-year-old actress took to her MySpace blog to defend herself after making comments when she asked a reporter what characteristic he liked most about new U.S. President Barack Obama. When he refused to answer on the basis that he was a journalist, she joked, “That’s it, be neutral. Be Sweden about it.”
Politically commentator Bill O’Reilly and TMZ then both made fun of Alba, insisting she meant Switzerland, not Sweden.
Alba then responded, “Last week, Mr. Bill O’Reilly and some really classy sites (i.e.TMZ) insinuated I was dumb by claiming Sweden was a neutral country. I appreciate the fact that he is a news anchor and that gossip sites are inundated with intelligent reporting, but seriously people…it’s so sad to me that you think the only neutral country during WWII was Switzerland.” Alba then referenced Wikipedia to support her claim.

Sweden is and was neutral. Maybe Alba even visited - who knows.
Without Sweden, the Danish Jews could not have been rescued. We Danes, Jewish or Gentile, are eternally grateful. My family was saved by Swedes. Its true that Sweden wasn’t perfect, and neither was Switzerland btw. But what Sweden helped achieve, happened no other place in Europe.
Alba didn’t make a mistake.
Today, Sweden still works for peace.
I thought she was teasing the reporter when she made the comment to him. I think Bill OReily started the name calling of this actress. I dont know what these conservatives have against these stars if they have an opinon. These sames republicans have voted in republican actors to washington I can just about name all of them. How many actors have the democrates voted into a major office. I am sure a lot of them would be qualified.
I just figured out why all of a sudden these people hate Jessica Alba, I guesss the young lady is just about 23 or 24 years old. She hasnt lived long enough to have that many haters, just because of what she said to the reported.. Why dont all you bitter republicans be real and tell the american people why all the neg comments against this person. Now Is it because she supported Obama whole heartly and you people can not stand that or live with it. I hate when people are hipocrites.
You republican did not think all those republicans actors you voted for and sent to Washington or made governors or senator were dumb or stupid, Or is it just democrat actors that you people deem dumb or stupid?
In every country except for the US Sweden is well known as a Neutral country.
Even some americans know this as well.
