Jude Law Set Up Josh Lucas & Rachel McAdams
Jude Law was the one who played cupid for his Sherlock Holmes co-star Rachel McAdams, 30, with his pal Josh Lucas, 37.
“Rachel is very comfortable with him,” an insider tells Life & Style. And now that Sherlock filming has moved from the U.K. to Josh’s home, NYC, “she’s having a great time hanging out with him in the city.”
The new couple were recently spotted smooching at the Purple Ball celebrating President Obama’s inauguration in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 20. But Rachel is being cautious since her breakup with Ryan Gosling. “Rachel doesn’t want to get crazy serious right now about anyone,” says the insider. “They’re having fun.”

Jude will find his girl eventually. Probably not as easy as one would think to find a woman who’s ready to take on 3 stepkids, unless she’s got kids herself.

I think that’s a good point Sheryl. I think it would be hard for someone without kids to deal with him having not just three kids but also a very present ex-wife.
omg it was them! my husband and I saw them standing outside the fairmont when we got back from the parties! they were so cute! they had their arms wrapped around each other (it was damn cold!) and he was kissing her face all over and rubbing her back! i think they were waiting for their car or a taxi.
Loving this! Love the first hand accounts of seeing them together, love that Josh has given a quote to US Weekly about them dating, love that Rachel has finally moved on from the Goose and love that she sounds like she’s happy! Huge yay yay!!

i wish jude finds the woman who is right for him…..he’s got three beautiful children who are the centerpiece of his life. he is NOT a player. he was with sadie frost for ten years a nd sienna for three on and off. if it weren’t for the N—-ny incident you didn’t hear about jude playing the field. the film business is rife with cheating actors…much more so than jude…please don’t let one indiscretion taint him forever. who among all of us haven’t made a mistake once….let’s have a little forgiveness here.

Oh, must have overlooked that one…well, apparently this person thinks everyone in this situation but Ryan is a player. Sounds more like they’re just pissed that Rachel has moved on and are holding out for a Ryan and Rachel reunion.
They are a cute couple. I think Rachel has a very bright career ahead, and have enjoyed her movies. I have to laugh about the comments about Ryan being a “player”. Josh has the same rep. & on the NYC scene he has earned the reputation as “Party Boy” Josh Lucas. Josh is a known “womanizer”. Maybe meeting Rachel will turn that around. I have follwed Josh’s career for a few years. He is very talented, but needs to choose some better projects. I wish nothing but the best for him. I hope he is happy, but I also hope this is just not a rebound on Rachel’s part. Sorry, it just seems that she and Ryan will always have a special connected.
