Jude Law Set Up Josh Lucas & Rachel McAdams

Jude Law was the one who played cupid for his Sherlock Holmes co-star Rachel McAdams, 30, with his pal Josh Lucas, 37.

“Rachel is very comfortable with him,” an insider tells Life & Style. And now that Sherlock filming has moved from the U.K. to Josh’s home, NYC, “she’s having a great time hanging out with him in the city.”

The new couple were recently spotted smooching at the Purple Ball celebrating President Obama’s inauguration in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 20. But Rachel is being cautious since her breakup with Ryan Gosling. “Rachel doesn’t want to get crazy serious right now about anyone,” says the insider. “They’re having fun.”

@74, Their connection is they did a movie and then dated, and now they’re not. That’s not a special connection, that’s Hollywood.

Karma - true they did a movie and ended up dating 4 years after the fact, 4 years is a long time in Hollywood years! lol

#78, where did I say they didn’t have a relationship? They dated, so I ceratainly hope they had a relationship! What I said was, their situation isn’t so special…they seem to have taken the same typical course as many Hollywood relationships, but it’s done now. They had a relationship….and now they’re not.

I agree with comment #74 on Josh Lucas. The guy’s got acting talent but he needs to make better choices in his role selection (Sweet Home Alabama!!! styled romance movies shows him off best!) would be nice. I’ve read elsewhere that he is a womanizer, but then again, with those eyes, what woman wouldn’t fall. However, if he would be picky about his women, he might have better success in that as well. I’m not saying Rachel is icky, it’s just, well, he probably needs to go through a few more wrong ones before he finds the right one! And hey, he’s not old, but he has mentioned about settling down and having a family. Rachel doesn’t look like she’s ready for that yet. But, then again, anything goes in NYC and Hollywood. What do I know? I’m from Pigeon Creek, Alabama!!! (giggles) Would it help if Josh and I had a talk in the pet cemetary about all of this??? Oh well…

sometimes i wonder if jude is too busy to have a romantic relationship with anyone at the moment.His life is full.His children are his life i guess and Sadie is an extension of the children.he seems happy enough.sometimes i do think he is a player but its ok bcos he is not commited to anyone.if i could be cupid..i wouldnt know what to do about jude.really dont.
