Orlando Bloom Wigs Out
Orlando Bloom shows off his shaggy new do in a grungy wig on the set of his new movie, Sympathy for Delicious, in Los Angeles on Wednesday (January 28).
The 32-year-old British actor also sported tattoos, black fingernail polish and suspenders.
The plot follows the life of a paralyzed DJ (Christopher Thorton) who realizes he cures the sick, but can’t help himself from pursuing his rock ‘n’ roll dreams. Bloom is taking over for James Franco, who was originally cast as the lead. Laura Linney will play the band’s manager. Christopher Thornton, who wrote the film, will star as the DJ and Mark Ruffalo will portray a priest.

Was that really necessary? I mean really. What is the point and why do you care what they have to say? There is a remedy for avoiding such posters you know. It’s called “don’t read at Delphi or OBD or ONTD or OL or CO or KB or OU”.
It is really rather simple. Don’t go to those places or scroll past the posts you don’t like. Really simple it is.
This from the same people who gripe about being “forced” to read about Miranda.

People like you think just because they bash Delphi and act like Orlando and his gf **** spun gold that they are some kind of super fan. People like you are just as extreme as those who hate him no matter what he does. The delusional label can be applied to either side. Believe it or not, there are people outside your tiny little universe who do not think he’s THE GREATEST AND THE RICHEST AND THE MOST POWERFUL ACTOR OF ALL TIME!!! That’s just life.
It’s one thing for people to have discussions on their respective boards with their peers who are of like mind. However, anyone coming here to post in no man’s land is pretty much looking for conflict, myself included. JJ has never been known to be a place to have intelligent discussion. Those who troll other communities and then come here to complain about their findings, stop playing yourselves. To take the time to read the “mindless drivel” they post on their boards and then come here to act like they’re above it all shows a certain level of pretentious. We all have trolled each other’s board’s at some point in time. Obviously no one is winning this battle (except JJ ), so if you’re going to take the time to come here and keep engaging each other in an argument, at least do it with a little integrity. Being fake like that just undermines your efforts to look high and mighty.
Finally Orlando is in the media for the right reason!!!
Who cares what Miranda Kerr is doing or Miranda for the matter she has her thread on Jared, if any fans of hers wants to tak about her,go to her thread, right now Orlando is filming a movie, after a long time of not working hes got a good gig and people want to talk about haters, shippers, james franco, delphi etc.
Who Cares, Orlando has a job and is working isnt that enough for some people here? I dont know about the people posting here but I am all for it that Orlando is now working and having fun. Forget everything else.

I dont hate OB, but my opinions of him changed from all the things that happened within the last year. But I am really psyched about this new movie he is in. Lovin the boots too.
I made no mention of Kerr. See, I follow my own advice. I’m not interested in her, only him, so I avoid clicking on places where I know she is posted about and i avoid her threads here too. Simple really.
I’m not one of those that gripe about her. So let’s not put me in a group of people where I don’t belong. You don’t know me and I’m not a hypocrite.

#44 sounded pretty balanced to me. They were critical of both ends of the spectrum.
And if the Delphi girls bring their arguements over here, people are going to comment on them. Especially if they try to play the victim.

I’m one of the “Delphi Haters” I guess, but I really don’t care if people call me that. If im a hater im a hater. Before Delphi even started most of the Delphi Girls used to post around here on Ob’s threads back in spring, ahh I miss those times they were fun. I’m sure JustJared remembers the 1000+ comments we used to leave behind im sure he was happy about that.
Anyways At least a certain actor has a job now and he can have fun while the filming lasts. I really want to focus more on his work.

I completely agree with this. I think you missed the point of my post though. Just Jared is nothing but one bitchfest. It’s useless for people to come here of all places and put on airs like they are so above the drama. Especially when they go to other boards and bring stuff back here. Of course everyone here is going to defend themselves when we are being criticized.
Everyone who reads here wants to catch up on the next round of drama. Those who post here want to be a part of it. Let’s just be real with ourselves. This kind of stuff satisfies a need on some sick level, and that’s why we keep going at each other. To pretend to not like the drama just because we all don’t agree with each other is just being phony. What is “logical” is simply a matter of perspective.

I for got to add, what is “logical” is simply a matter of perspective. To call someone crazy or jealous just because their logic doesn’t match yours is dismissive. This battle has been long fought and no one is winning. If you’re going to get down in the muck and the mire with all the “loons”, then accept that you belong there with them.

Hey, don’t know about you guys but, i’m gonna keep on track here and enjoy Orlando’s thread while this all lasts. It’s only about a month long of filming. And about drama, we can leave that out and just talk about the topic here on this thread.
@64 I do like the way he looks grunge, at least he is getting into character. Him and Mark look like old pals together. I really hope this film works out for him and gets him better attention with the press and in the industry. Hopefully it will.

Maybe because people who like him want to know what people who don’t say about him, like when you watch the news from a TV channel with a political stand you disagree with to form an informed opinion.

Since when is blind worship a good thing? Just because we question a lot of what we have seen doesn’t make us bad guys. If that’s our passion to talk about all the weirdness of things, then so be it. We all have free will. It’s our choice to post about about our likes and dislikes just like it’s your choice to take the time to read it. Just like it’s every poster’s choice to keep engaging each other here. Do you see a recurring theme?
Why do you keep going over there to read? Maybe you should stay where you live if it offends you so much. No one’s opinions are going to change just because you gripe about it here. Bottom line: if you you go looking for trouble, don’t be too surprised when you find it. There really is no need for me to further elaborate on this subject.

Such irony that someone whom I have never met, has decided they have me pegged. They must have far too much time on their hands if they are over there reading so deeply that they can name, names. Sounds like they spend more time themselves there, that I do.

Just to clear stuff up here. We at Delphi (aka the Delphi Loons) do not hate Orlando in the slightest. People are rather thrilled to see him work again. The people slagging him off here are probably fat jealous haters with no life yeah? That’s apparently the law of the playground when you call someone you don’t like. If you (and you know who you are) could even be bothered to do your homework, you will see we have NOT done nothing but criticize him since day one. That has obviously come from someone who is not in the private section and maybe quite bitter about the fact they can’t see what is going on. If they did see, they would KNOW we do not criticize him all the time and we say lots of positive stuff about him. The image you give Delphi is a wrong one. I’m sure some people will take your word for it, maybe because they are too lazy to go look themselves or take even the slightest bit of negativity (i.e I dont like his shirt) as “hate”. We speak positive about him, we speak good about him so your opinion/info/whatever is wrong (or you are lying).
Oh, and the list you made, is that your “hit list”. How immature! Next you will be saying “stop talking sh!t about Orlando or I will hunt you down and kill you”. Now that would be a complete nutter talking but it certainly sounds familiar! I will not be posting here agian. I am not interested in having an arguement with you, just trying to set the record straight.

This is all pretty big talk from people who don’t have the courage to post their names along with their insults, isn’t it? Everyone here loves to throw bricks, and that’s pretty easy when you’re hiding behind a screen name.
We all have opinions, and lord knows mine have been pretty caustic, but if you’re going to talk sh!t at least grow a pair and take your lumps like the rest of us do.
