Orlando Bloom Wigs Out
Orlando Bloom shows off his shaggy new do in a grungy wig on the set of his new movie, Sympathy for Delicious, in Los Angeles on Wednesday (January 28).
The 32-year-old British actor also sported tattoos, black fingernail polish and suspenders.
The plot follows the life of a paralyzed DJ (Christopher Thorton) who realizes he cures the sick, but can’t help himself from pursuing his rock ‘n’ roll dreams. Bloom is taking over for James Franco, who was originally cast as the lead. Laura Linney will play the band’s manager. Christopher Thornton, who wrote the film, will star as the DJ and Mark Ruffalo will portray a priest.

Preach it, Wanda!
And to all the shippers who pretend to not read our blogs, I just want to say thanks for the hits. You clearly care more about us than we care about you. :)
I feel like I need to give an acceptance speech:
Thank you for naming me to the #1 spot on your Hit List! It is such an honor to be mentioned but to be at the top of the list is more than I could have hoped for. I would like to thank all of my fellow “Delphi Loons” for our regular conversations on many topics. And I would especially like to thank Orlando Bloom for being a mostly interesting topic of conversation and a person with both good and bad qualities to discuss with fellow fans in an objective manner. Thank you, Orlando, for going back to work. Please do more of that and less of other things.
LOL, we should get more people out here to JJ again, just like old times at least once. We can even let Eri come back and let blue person say the same old one liners, “haters get a life”, lol. Oh how can we ever forget that one. :p
Wanda, fake rack is my posting name. are you saying I should post my real name here? is wanda rizzuto your real name? hope you arent listed cause im no expert but that could cause some problems dont you think? i dont post anywhere else so sorry if you dont like it that I dont find the gunnedah hobag dingo **** funny anymore but I dont. it was funny the first week but you cant expect people to keep laughing after telling the same old joke over and onver and over again. i wasnt beiing insulting, or maybe i was if you want to take it that way, i dont like MK anymore that you do, or any of the girls at delphi, but im also not shy in telling someone when something is old and tired. take that how you want to. i dont read your blogs and hardly read any other boards, i just stumbled across jared last year and mostly read untill a littlle while ago. not going to shut it though if that was your intention. chill out and get some new jokes if you want to be interesting or something.
Fine if you don’t like it but others of us do laugh.
You can always ignore it if you don’t like it.
Wanda and friends keep the dingoese jokes coming.
sure i guess i could and these days i do. theres one who laughs anyone else?
So you keep the “positive” stuff private, and let the non stop bashing remain public, and you wonder why people think of your site the way they do?
Yeah, right.
For the record, I like the gunneduh hobag. She makes me laugh.
It’s great being named on that hit list. Wonderful. I don’t actually hate Orlando, I just don’t feel the need to kiss his **** every time he does something vaguely positive (like work). I’ve never been a fan of his acting and I prefer being honest, so I am going to wait and see how this movie turns out. I’ve said my fair share of positive remarks and negative ones and I’m not going to apologise for having an opinion that others disagree with.
No one on Delphi gives a toss, by the way. We find some of the idiots here hilarious.
“I’ve said my fair share of positive remarks and negative ones and I’m not going to apologise for having an opinion that others disagree with.”
That pretty much says it all and sums it up for many people, #84, aka Icarus. Constant flattery of an actor doesn’t prove loyalty.
I find it funny that all of the Delphites are rushing over here to try to defend theselves. Trying to make themselves sound rational. Too funny.
Go ahead. Keep trying to convince people that your site was not formed for the sole purpose of spouting venomous, irrational conspiracy theories without people disagreeing with you. Go ahead.
@86 - It’s so easy to bash when you’re an anonymous poster, isn’t it? Poor thing, you must feel terribly inadequate in certain areas of your life. I know its a difficult concept for you to understand, but some people do actually have different opinions and freely express them. You clearly have an inflated sense of your own importance if you think anyone at Delphi is getting upset over being ‘called out’. It’s created even more humour.
A follow up to my #87 post - no one on Delphi hates Orlando. Far from it.
So you bash Orlando and Miranda using your real name? No didn’t think so.
And sure, people have differing opinions, and should be allowed to express them. The problem is, your site doesn’t allow freedom to expess any opinion but your own. Any disent is shut down quickly, all the while you are condmning places like OLove for not allowing the same disent. You guys bear the label of Hypocrites for a reason.
So no one on your site calls Olando horrible names? Or insults his family? Or his chosen companion? If that isn’t hate, I wouldn’t like to see your version of it.
@89 - We have never told people who have different opinions that they can’t post at Delphi, the only reason that hasn’t happened is because the few ’shippers’ who have posted have only stirred **** and not wanted to have a proper discussion. Discussion is welcome at Delphi - going there just to attack us (which has happened everytime someone with a ‘different’ opinion has registered) is not a welcome approach.
No, we don’t insult Orlando’s family, they’re not celebrities and they’re not begging for attention. I didn’t come here to attack you (which is exactly what you’re doing), I’m just pointing out some facts about a board which you clearly have very little understanding of.
So what kind of “trouble” might someone find for criticizing Delphi? Please do elaborate.
Well, he certainly looks the part - now we’ll see if he can play the part. And I’m hoping he’s successful because won’t the critics be surprised!
You lie to yourself often, do ya?
The last time someone brought up legitimate, rational arguements to debate some of your theories, they were harrassed off the board pretty quickly. Sure there were one or two of you that answered them politely, actually interested in the debate. But most answered with proclamations that this person was either dumb or blind. Of course, along with the old, tired, “member of the family” bit. And the earlier S.T.F.U. is a classic Delphi move.
They have insulted Orlando’s mother. Insinuating that it was the conditions surrounding his birth, and that his mother was a loose woman, that are causing him “problems” now. She has also ben called a famehound on your site. I guess that can be considered a compliment in your eyes?
It all comes back to the fact that your site is no more “balanced” than OLove. And you need to stop pretending that it is.
“Trouble” as in fishing for comments from people that might be upsetting because you know don’t necessarily hold the same views as you. #69 had this to say:
“Maybe because people who like him want to know what people who don’t say about him, like when you watch the news from a TV channel with a political stand you disagree with to form an informed opinion”
Why go to a site to gauge a reaction from people who obviously have a different viewpoint than you if you’re going to constantly write it off as being hate? You are not being objective at all. Like I said in my earlier post, maybe you should stay where you live if what we write on our site offends others so much. It’s really not that hard. It all comes down to choice.
We would never threaten violence if that’s what you’re getting at. We’re evolved enough to not have to stoop to that level if there’s a disagreement. I wish I could say the same for everybody else.
“They have insulted Orlando’s mother. Insinuating that it was the conditions surrounding his birth, and that his mother was a loose woman, that are causing him “problems” now. She has also ben called a famehound on your site. I guess that can be considered a compliment in your eyes?”
I’m not #90, but I do recall this conversation taking place on. Even I have to say some of the comments surrounding his mother were a bit extreme for my taste, as I’m sure others felt that way too. Some things are better left unsaid.
To say we all feel that way when only a handful of people participated in that conversation is generalizing. There are a lot more registered members than the regulars who post there. I can guarantee some of them are probably members of your site of choice too. So are they Delphi loons too just because they come to our site to vent when they don’t agree with certain things you say on your site? Just because there aren’t as many arguments on our site as others doesn’t mean we all agree on everything. Sometimes some of us just choose not to participate in certain conversations. Maybe some of us like to pick our battles. There’s that word “choice” floating around again.
Then if you don’t control the vile comments, you can’t blame people for thinking of your site a certain way.
If you lie down with dogs….
Guilt by association…..
Be careful of the friends you keep….
Do any of these ring a bell?
Hey, please leave my mum out of this! Thanks.
First of all, it’s not my job to to put a muzzle on anyone. Unless a moderator steps in, we can pretty much can say what we want.
Second, all your little quips about association can be applied to you as well since you go over there and read what we say and then come back here to argue with us. Want that flea collar now, hon?
Btw, weren’t you just complaining about us pretending that our site is balanced? And now you want me to control the vile comments? You’re contradicting yourself here?
So you’re proud that your version of balance sometimes borders on the obscene? Proud that your “moderator” is one of the worst offenders?
You can have reasonable discussion without calling someone’s mother a w.h.o.r.e., can’t you?
As someone said, you are no more balanced than OLove. Trying to say otherwise is laughable.
