Jake Gyllenhaal Kicks The Shin Out of Paparazzi
A videographer followed actor Jake Gyllenhaal as he was returning from a scheduled lunch break during jury duty on Wednesday (January 28) in Los Angeles.
The 28-year-old frustrated actor was seen walking into a door after pushing instead of pulling and then kicking the videographer’s shin.

FYI: Jake was excused from jury service in the battery case.

When will these stars learn that they can’t have it both ways. One minute they use the paparazzi for shameless self promotion then they start kicking and spitting at them.

No he didn’t have the right to do that. I like Jake G. but I am worried about him he seems very “off” in these scenes. He used to keep his cool much better. I hope he isn’t on steroids.
Violence is NEVER OKAY. I”m quite sure he’s heard Reece tell that to her young uns…..and we’ve all had bad days — like poverty stricken days — and we don’t do around kickin’ and screamin’—well, I don’t, and I really wish everyone wouldn’t….even cute Jake.
joe, I’m not a Ted C. believer either, I think most of what he writes is bull. But Reese was well known to arrange photo ops while she was with her ex and father of her children and I’ve read from various entertainment columnists that she and Jake do the same, like in Rome when they promoted their movie Rendition.
Joe #53, Reese would never arrange a pap photo op or use her kids in pap pics. But funnily enough, a pap just happened to be at a pig farm in the middle of nowhere when she took her kids there to look buy pigs! And again funnily enough, the pics were in a Reese PR spread in a magazine! And what’s even more of a total coincidence, Reese was smiling for the camera, looking directly at it! And she didn’t get mad at all that her kids were being “papped.”! What a great mom! Oh and funnily enough, paps just happen to hang out at rural farmers markets and state parks and sightseeing places when Jake and Reese are there. What a coincidence!
I saw the video. Jake didn’t kick anyone. The papparrazzi walked into his foot. Seriously. Jake was in a HUGE hurry. He was coming back from lunch break and they will lock you out if you are late and then you have to start all over again. So he was in a hurry and they were trying to invade his space and block him. He wasn’t even thinking about the silly douchebag. Go Jakey!!!! I LOVE him.

Umm, I’ve watched this twice now, and I don’t see any kicking. I’m sure if it did happen, it was an accident. The pap was obnoxious anyway.
I saw two video and Jake did any assault.

Jake’s “fan” sites haven’t had posts all day because his fangirls are busy posting over and over everywhere they can find to defend his actions which are inexcusable.
Only his devoted few fans don’t see this as an immature action that shows that he is not a cool guy.

Jake was rude with TMZ in the past. First, in New York, when he and a girl were walking on the street, a TMZ´s pap flew with the cam over them. So, he warned the guy to back off…
Second time, Jake was getting into his car and again TMZs pap wanted filming inside car, so Jake pushed the guy.
I know the fans love to see these things but in truth TMZ is impertinent.
If Jake was a gentleman he´d have opened the door and waited the pap go in the Court filming everthing, of course.
Yeah, it was definitely not a purposeful assault…J is just trying to get where he needs to be.
So what was the spitting at the pap while Jake walked by him on Tuesday? An accident? And nearly running over a group of paps with his car 2 weeks ago? Just a bad day? It all adds up to something not good.
there is another video of Matthew McConnahay (not right spelling I know) who was bothered by paps but he politely asked to speak to them and came to an agreement that they would not harrass him. All very civil and decent. He didn’t fly off the handle like Jake and act like a child having a tantrum. Jake was in a foul mood, I suspect, either because he resented being asked to do his civic duty as a juror or maybe because things are not going well at ‘home”. LOL

He (with the she voice) deserved more than just a kick. These brainless retards are taunting them and harassing them and getting away with ’stalking’. I say they should start locking them up under stalker laws, and charge HUGE fines with probation, and a second offense gives them jail time with a criminal record, third…oops, three strikes your out…of luck and in jail for a long time.

He said in an interview for a magazine ages ago that he went into acting when he was young because he loved the attention, so what’s his problem now? This is what you get when you become an actor. Plus, why does he look so miserable and unhappy recently? It looks as if RW has castrated his personality completely, he doesn’t seem the same guy at all. I haven’t seen him smiling for ages, apart from the usual fake smile for the photo ops,….
