OlderPete Wentz On Jessica Simpson’s Weight Debate
Pete Wentz shows off his red hot shades at the NFL Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Concert held at the Ford Amphitheatre at the Florida State Fairgrounds on Thursday (January 29) in Tampa, Fla.
The 29-year-old Fall Out Boy bassist recently defended his sister-in-law Jessica Simpson’s new curves. Pete told Extra!, “I think that the media puts too harsh of a spotlight on women in general and I think it’s a bummer. It’s bad for young women. I see it affecting young girls who come to our shows and that’s a bummer.”
He continues, “Real beauty is on the inside, man.”
UPDATE: Pete also tells ET: “I feel like, as a country in particular, we put so many ideas and regulations and thoughts into the heads of young women that they have to look and feel a certain way or else they’re not good enough or they’re not pretty enough. It’s like the cheesiest thing ever to say, but who you are is way more important than how you look.”

I do think the media is being harsh on Jessica about her weight. In no way is the girl fat. She has curves and she made a BAD choice of outfit at the chilifest thing that sparked the whole debate. Any person who has shape to them who wears the high rise pants of course the pants will not be that flattering to your figure.

Jessica Simpson is one of the most beautiful women on the planet, and the fact that she puts on real female curves, earns her all my admiration. The people who don’t have real female bodies are called “bulimic teens”. Like Angelina Jolie who is deadscared of a gram of fat on her body - but being skinny, she isn’t even pretty. Jessica is beautiful, no matter what.
