Shia LaBeouf looks unusually upbeat, making his daily run to the local convenience store in Los Angeles on Wednesday (January 28).
The 22-year-old Transformers star smiled for photogs as he returned home with a plastic bag full of goodies.
Shia was seen sporting a t-shirt that read “Bless You Boys, September 19, 1987.” “Bless You Boys” was the catchphrase used by former Detroit sportscaster Al Ackerman when reporting a winning Tigers score.

The Detroit Tigers won the Pennant and the world series and had a winning streak of something like 30 games in a row.The Rangers came in to play them and couldn’t do anything against them. Said it was like playing in the Twilight Zone. They were magic that year. I was there. They taped a lot of celebrities, including two famous Catholic cardinals, all saying “Bless you boys!” it was the most fun I ever had as a kid. I was 14. They beat the San Diego Padres to win the world series.

Here is what I think about your question #134 after reading some of these post. Really, I read a lot of psychology articles and this is my guess to why these people may be posting this stuff about this young actor, Shia Labeouf:
- Some of them appear to be shocked about his facial hair.
- Some may not be used to change
- Some could be suffering OCD, many people suffer from that. And they may be so upset with the new change.
- Some may be very sensitive
- Some act as if they are Shia and are playing with other posters emotions, aka mind games.
- Some may be really fans of him but may be disappointed about something or another that Shia did or they are disappointed about his new look
- Some may, as they call, could be “trolls”
- Some really do think that Shia Labeouf is a “ladies man” and they want to express there thoughts on that.
Look, these are just some of my guesses as to why these posters are posting these comments. I really do think that some people worship Shia Labeouf, which I think is a bit bizarre, I think.
Seriously people, what are the chances that Shia Labeouf really reads these things and/ or post to these comments?
I have noticed that most of these young celebs (like Shia) usually are a “ladies man”, imo. I can see how Shia is one of these guys who can use his good looks to get what he wants! eeekk. I agree this guy is SO overrated, perhaps the looks thingy has gone to his head…but which one..LOL :D ;)

vince (#145), I think that is so sweet about Shia. I think he is a true mama’s boy! It is really good to see that in a young man such as him. I also think Shia is care free and humble. I really like his sense of humor as well. He is very intelligent. What bothers me though is how some of these fans totally worship this dude, like he is some kind of god to them. He is just a regular human being. I mean I think it is so strange to have a “church of Labeard” as a thread on IMDB. I am not at all a fan of the beard and every day I am hoping that he will shave it or thin it like it was on GQ 6/2008. (according to these comments I am sure that #110 will be ugly to me like #110 has to the other posters here who says negative comments about SHia’s beard) But some poster brought up a good point, that Shia may have super sensitive skin and it hurts him to shave, and they noted why all of a sudden? I use to have eczma from 27-31 years of age and now it is totally gone, so perhaps this is why his skin all of a sudden got so sensitive to shaving. I dunno I just hope that the beard is very temporary and soon we will see the clean cut shia!!! I guess that a poster like #110 will be posting soon about this, maybe they are the “preist” of the church of labeard.

I don’t know anything about a church of beard, what? LOL. All I can say is Shia is a guy, and he doesn’t really seem to be that into his looks. For magazine covers and movies he has a stylist or some **** to help him with that. And honestly Shia’s looks are average and he knowes it.
I am a big fan of Shia Labeouf. NOt only because of his looks but because of his personality and his acting ability. No poster #146, I do not worship this guy I just find him attractive and a good guy and a damn good actor.
But the reason I am posting my comment is because of something that poster #145 about Shia and his Ma and how they are so close. I hope that his mother never marries and *******. My father and I used to be very close like Shia and his Ma seems to be. Then he married a woman who is awful to me because I am so much like my mother (she is 100% opposite of her). She has driven my father and I apart due to him being brain washed by this hateful jealous woman (step mother from hell), he, my father, is a lot older than Shia’a Ma (I am guessing about her). Anyway, I do hope for Shia Labeouf that his Ma does not marry or date some ass that will drift Shia and his Ma’s relationship apart. I really do hope NOT, the two of them seem exceedingly close.
