Nicole Kidman: Movie Musical Madness
Nicole Kidman keeps warm, wearing a fur coat over her strapless white hot dress while filming her movie musical Nine in Rome, Italy on Thursday (January 29).
The 41-year-old Aussie actress plays Claudia, the muse and protege of film director Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis, pictured here).
The movie also stars Oscar winners Marion Cotillard, Judi Dench and Sophia Loren. Rounding out the star-studded cast are Kate Hudson, Penélope Cruz and Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson.

The longer hair makes her younger, and she looks perfect in that dress and coat (altough i hate fur). Daniel is a lucky man, be around so many beautiful women!

She looks amazing, she has a classic beauty, and agree: she reminds a lot Grace Kelly and Brigitte.
The best part about Nicole being in NINE is that she has a very small role. If she was a major character, it would be a death knoll for the movie. Any project she has been involved with in the last two years has bombed.
She looks fine when she’s got makeup on and a wig… I’m not a fan of fur either, but I’m sure it’s part of the role. If an actress is very concerned about not wearing fur, it can be written into their acting contract. But if that isn’t a concern that they have, the wardrobe department (with costume design) will define the wardrobe.
how nice one fan keeps posting under several names how Nicole is great. When will she have a hit? Australia flopped but maybe this ensemble will help?

yes is true, but is not nicole´s fault, is not like she bought the coat, and what can she do about it? say that she is not going to wear that? that would not be professional of her, and is not like they kill the animals to make that coat for her, well I hope so
when an actor is a true professional, she/he doesn’t bring her personal interestes, ideas and values into her/his work…
By the whay, Australia was a flop in USA, that’s true, but is doing more than great overseas….The film already gained money enough to overdue the budget…It has profit already!

Australia was not good at USA box office, but it was number one in Spain, Germany and France…And it didn’t open yet in Asia….
So when a film (supposely) bombs it’s Nicole’s fault, but when it is a HIT, it’s emsemble’s job and not hers???

I guess this is the only way Nicole is going to have a financial success……starring with the likes of DDL, Judi Dench, Sophia Loren, Penelope Cruse, Marion Cotillard and Kate Hudson. How long has been since Nicole actually had a bona fide hit? Even Australia flopped miserably. It’s no wonder her asking price for a film dropped from 18 Million down to 10 Million.
Everything you see here is fake on Kidman, well, maybe not the fur. Where’s PETA?
