ok people, I love animals, I adore them, much much more than u ever gonna love animals in ur life, and I just wanna say that here are a lots of hypocrites, do u eat meat? chicken? hamburguer? whatever, dont u know all the pain those animals go through? do u know how they kill them? well if u don´t eat meat, I´m sure u all have used medicines, drugs for some illness, do u know what happen in a lab with the animals there?how they take the rats eyes while they are still alive?how the scientist experiment with the rats in the lab? just to bring u the drugs u need to heal, and I study in a lab, I know what I´m talking about, and we all do, so don´t throw stones to nicole just for use a coat that is not even hers in a movie she is making, we are all sinners so don´t play innocent

So glad that people have posted about the success of Australia. We Americans think we rule the world; not so. The critics in the USA panned the movie (shows what they know)l. In other parts of the world the movie is a huge success. Has definitely showed a large profit. Nicole is so stunning. I am the same age as her; I am not even close to being as beautiful as she, but I do not have wrinkles either and have a very nice figure. The woman is only 41 years old……why do people pretend like she is 61. She will be beautiful forever…….it is in her genetics and physiology. Critics love to say botox, etc. I don’t think so; I make my lips fuller by using extensive (hidden) lip liner and the right lipstick. Nicole has very professional makeup people to assist her….she does not need botox. Let’s enjoy a beautiful, talented, genuine lady.

Why don’t some of you contact the costume department of Nine to complain if you don’t like the coat? The style is 60’s like the car and the hairdo. It’s probably been used in many movies over the years, maybe even in Fellini’s, and was not made specifically for this movie. It’s a costume, not Nicole’s personal belonging.
Seems like most of the unhappy Urban “fans” are always around to criticize Nicole. Because she’s looking good, they have to find something else to bash her for. Predictable.

Animals have been tortured and skinned so that Kidman can look good in a movie.. and just for the cause of vanity. If that doesn’t make your stomach turn with disgust I don’t know what does.

It actually surprises me that some here still defend her wearing fur. I guess Kidman fans don’t care too much about the torture of animals. How surprising! Most are like her..cold and nasty, apparently.

Nicole obviously has no problems wearing fur. She’s a cold woman who never liked animals. Always be suspicious of people who have no feelings for animals. They are cold as ice.

HI I just wanna tell u that u are right about a few things there, but let me tell u this I adore animals, I really do, I even save ants and I´m not kidding, people call me weird or whatever, I hate people that hurt animals, I had fight with my best friends deffending animals I try very hard to not eat animals, I study biology and in a subject we had to disset mice, and I had to take the class 2 times because the first I could not do kill the rat, when I did I felt horrible I cried for 4 or 5 hours and I had nightmares for a year, and I´m also a big fan of nicole, and I know a lot of things about her, and I know she is one of the sweetest celebrities out there, is impossible for me to believe she doesn´t like or care for animals, if that was the case I will be the first one to hate her, my point is Nicole never wore a fur cout in real life, so my point is sometimes we have to do things we don´t want to do just because is our job

Also, note how that fur EXACTLY matches her hair color. She clearly was involved in selecting the right fur for this film since it had to match her hair and skin color in the exact right way. I bet she tried on A LOT of furs before this one was selected.

She obviously does NOT care about animal abuse and the torture of animals in the fur industry and she does not mind promoting furs at all.
