Swimming champ Michael Phelps smokes from a bong during a weekend filled with smoking weed and chugging booze, reports UK’s News Of The World.
“You could tell Michael had smoked before,” the paper’s source revealed. “He grabbed the bong and a lighter and knew exactly what to do. He looked just as natural with a bong in his hands as he does swimming in the pool. He was the gold medal winner of bong hits. Michael ended up getting a little paranoid, though, because before too long he looked like he was nervous and ran out of the place.”
The 23-year-old Olympic champion’s team reportedly tried to bribe NOTW not to run this bong picture because the Olympic champion could potentially lose all of his endorsement deals. Phelps has won a record 14 gold medals.

It is obviously him or he wouldn’t have apologised. And I’d be worried if a 20 something year old never toked up. He was just stupid to have a picture taken of him. He’s famous enough to ask all partyers to give up the camera and picture phones. And personally I wouldn’t let him hit my bong cause he’s got aqua lungs and would smoke it all up. Maybe Parents, Aunts, Uncles, Friends should be roll models to the kids. Why are we looking to people we don’t know. Just because someone is a good athlete or can act doesn’t mean they hold the same values as you. What an unreasonable thing to expect from someone, to be everything to everyone!

If they go after him with charges are they going to go after other sports players with a piss test that shows positive? All they have on Phelps is a picture. No real proof he had drugs in his system. This country is so ass backwards. We have PROOF of other sports figures with hot piss tests but they get a slap on the wrist and sent home to play another day. This is all politics cause it was pot and not steriods. Hell he could have had Cocaine in his system and gotten less gruff.
Everyone needs to get a life. Look at yourselves, you criticize Phelps for not living up to YOUR expectations. He might be an incredible athlete, but moreover, he is a human being. People make mistakes, he is a swimmer, not a saint, not Jesus Christ. Just because he might have smoked once, that does not mean that his life should be over, stop placing people on such a pedestal.
