Swimming champ Michael Phelps smokes from a bong during a weekend filled with smoking weed and chugging booze, reports UK’s News Of The World.
“You could tell Michael had smoked before,” the paper’s source revealed. “He grabbed the bong and a lighter and knew exactly what to do. He looked just as natural with a bong in his hands as he does swimming in the pool. He was the gold medal winner of bong hits. Michael ended up getting a little paranoid, though, because before too long he looked like he was nervous and ran out of the place.”
The 23-year-old Olympic champion’s team reportedly tried to bribe NOTW not to run this bong picture because the Olympic champion could potentially lose all of his endorsement deals. Phelps has won a record 14 gold medals.

It explains the way that he talks - before I thought he had suffered brain damage from near drowning - now you know that his brain has been damaged from smoking dope. He just never seems to be very bright and too spacey.
At least the 12,000 calorie a day diet makes sense now.

This picture was supposedly takeing in November 2007, he was training hard for the Olympics then and he would definately not have been in SC, He was also not that muscular then, he was more trimmed out. This is so not him. If it was, this picture would have been out a long time ago.
Well, if it was him, it doesn’t matter, he never failed any drug tests. When you are going to the Olympic you are drug tested monthly from the time you qualify until the Olympics are over. Not only are you drug tested but you are tested for performance enhancement drugs. This is not going to be an issue, this was also an old picture, it is from before the Olympics, not after.

WOWWWWWWW. out of all the things to make headline news about, the fact that michael phelps smoked out of a bong is a big deal? lose respect? are you serious? what does smoking a bong have anything to do with the fact that he’s an extremely talented swimmer? nothing has anything to do with the other. he’s not perfect. who hasn’t smoked something in their life?!

It is him, he has acknowledge it and he has said he was sorry, this won’t effect him endorsement wise, this was a miner infraction, speedo, nike, and kellogg’s knows that he is a major draw and his popularity has not weened.
He needs to analyse his “friends.” Everyone knows the vultures are always circling. It would be a pity the negative things which could happen because of this, seems as though life does’t offer second chances these days………………… Too many seem to relish in bad things happening to people………..tsk………tsk
