OlderHayden Panettiere & Chris Egan: Super Bowl Pysched
Heroes starlet Hayden Panettiere meets up with Aussie actor Chris Egan on the red carpet at the NBC Pre-Super Bowl event at Portofino Bay Hotel on Saturday (January 31) in Orlando, Fla.
24-year-old Egan (Eragon) is set to play young soldier David Shepherd in the new drama from executive producer Michael Green (Heroes) about a modern-day monarchy. When several prisoners of war are taken, David defies orders and crosses enemy lines to save them. Unknown to David, the soldier he saves is Jack Benjamin (Sebastian Stan, Leighton Meester’s boyfriend), the son of the king. From that day forth, David’s life will never be the same.
The series premiere of Kings is set to air @ 8-10PM ET/PT on Sunday, March 15 on NBC.

What’s the buzz on Kings? It was supposed to air in ER’s time slot but NBC decided to move it to Sunday. That worries me.
As for Heroes, the ratings have been dipping. Let’s hope for NBC’s sake they go up.

Chris Egan has been in Eragon and the short-lived series Vanished, among other things. I’m happy for him that he’s found a role in a series that has potential. And he’s looking good!
