Michael Phelps Apologizes For Smoking Pot
Olympic great Michael Phelps has apologized for smoking marijuana.
In a statement released to The Associated Press, Phelps said, “I engaged in behavior which was regrettable and demonstrated bad judgment. I’m 23 years old and despite the successes I’ve had in the pool, I acted in a youthful and inappropriate way, not in a manner people have come to expect from me. For this, I am sorry. I promise my fans and the public it will not happen again.”
Yesterday, UK tabloid News of the World published the bong picture of the swimmer, who won a record eight gold medals at the Beijing Games.
No word on whether or not Phelps has been released from his multi-million dollar endorsement deals.

Smoking a little pot…no big deal…a lot of people have done things in their college years that they aren’t totally proud. The major difference is he happens to be well known. A bad influence…maybe some may consider him that but we must not forget that although he has made a major accomplishment…he is human and makes the same mistakes and has the same experiences as anyone.

2nd Writers gotta keep a job in these hard times, so why not write about this.
3rd Smoker’s of the world should boycott and not buy any Kellog producuts since they don’t agree with medical or social use of Marijuana. I mean just like they have an imagine to uphold so do people who value this plant as more than a social or political tool to embaress or defame someone’s character.

Everyday. Its not bad for you. It doesn’t hurt you at all. It’s perfectly fine to smoke weed. Ill ride for marajuana any day! You can’t over dose, it doesn’t make you act crazy. It basiclly relaxes you. The worst that can happen is you might develope breathing issues when you get older but thats with anything you smoke. Truss me, weed is great and there are many other uses for the plant other then smoking it. Do the research before you type ignorant comments.
It’s unacceptable, it’s illegal, it straight out wrong. He thinks just because he is the best athlete in the world he can start doing drugs. I hope he sucks in the next Olympics.
OK I’m a fan of Michael and always will be, this changes nothing. He made a massive mistake and apologized for it, yes it was probably to save face but it doesn’t make the apology all the less sincere. It’s hardly the crime of the century, he’s not a constant drug-taker and is not someone, like *cough* Chris Brown *cough* who beatus up his girlfriend or murders people like we’ve had people do to dosens in Australia over the weekend……please get your priorities straight oh and another thing, HE IS NOT UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah Pot is a very potent and it’s an illegal substance in US. Many things been said and many opinions exist about legalizing it or not?
As of right now its still an open, undecided question. And while many waiting for resolution, you can either do what your stars( Nicole, Paris, Linsey, Britney, Brad, Phelps) do and ignore the law or you can try smoking something legal, or quit.
For those of you still seeking for new spiritual experiences I would recommend a Legal Herbal Smoking of such herbs as Salvia, Kanna, Wild Dagga, etc;)

just to tell all you idiots tobacco and alcohol are worse!… tobacco causes cancer and alcohol damages the liver… you can drive ok when high (unless you hallucinate and thats if its really good stuff or laced) marijuana is good for depression and isnt physically addictive (can be mentally but depends on the smoker) it cleanse the lungs (thats probably why hes doing it) duh people know the fact google stuff and youll figure out that our little health classes are BSing you kids fillering you mind to become another “normal” its just another way the “man” is trying to hold you down
