Dita Von Teese Makes Horse Sense

Dita Von Teese (in Elie Saab) hits the red carpet prior to her strip show on Sunday (January 1) at The Crazy Horse in Paris, France.

“I’m just trying to bring back the original art form,” says the 36-year-old burlesque beauty. “Unfortunately it seems that now in America they’ve lost all sense of what burlesque really is. It’s just something very racy for them,” she said. “It’s not like in France where they still remember names like Mistinguett and Josephine Baker. In America they’ve completely forgotten this and have a hard time coming to terms with the idea that striptease could’ve been a form of classic entertainment. I like coming here to be appreciated.”

She is a natural blonde and she wears a corset 24/7 for the appearance of a small waist. It actually moves your internal organs so your waist can be smaller. Google it. It’s pretty freakin gross.

I should add she has a 16 inch waist and admits to starves herself in addition to corset training. It’s brutal and not something women should be admiring.
