we are talking that zac recently bought A HOUSE of two bedrooms…. not his old apartment wich is far from vanessa’s new house..

Athena, the article is stating that Zac has bought a new house, in Studio City/H.Hills area, near to V. It’s different to his apartment.

It makes sense though that he will buy his own house.

It used to bug me because Zac didn’t seem like he kind of guy that would just move in with his gf and kinda live off her. He’s too traditional and macho for that. This is more in line with his character, that he’ll invest in his own place but most likely spend more time in Van’s because obviously she can keep house better.

I never thought he would be comfortable hosting his family or friends from SLO in Van’s place and it’s so silly to keep renting when he could buy and save his money.

I like this better, though, it’s great that they can maintain their independence and their relationship, none detracts from the other. That’s maturity.

Trust them to buy their houses around the same time, use the same designer and just generally go through the experience of setting up their own home together and comparing notes.

I don’t know why it’s big news though, or why it should indicate anything different in their relationship, if anything Zac could have done this earlier but he kept renting till Van bought hers in September. She on the other hand, waited for him to buy his before they started remodelling and designing. I guess the pictures of them furniture shopping was for both their places.

I really love that they’re going through a lot of life experiences together. what memories they must have.

Kind of odd that a designer would make a comment about his clients tastes and personal lives. Is he new to designing? Are these the first celebrity clients he’s ever had and he’s bragging? Very odd.

I have so many thoughts about this and find it hard to get them in anything but random form so here goes: also, I agree with many thoughts by posters but let us consider some things…

It would be a good time for Zac to invest in a house—it is a buyer’s market right now. That said, it is a good investment. He needs to get out of an apartment where other people live and have too much information on his comings and goings. He needs and deserves some privacy. Also, IF for any reason he and Vanessa’s relationship would end in the future and he they are living together then he would have nowhere to go and maybe the housing market would not be so good then or maybe his career would have cooled and he would not have the money, etc. ALL those things COULD happen but I DOUBT it. But it is a thought.

I seriously doubt—and I’ve said this before—that either Zac or Vanessa will ever announce they are living together. We have seen how private they are and if they would do that then it would open the door for interviewers to ask personal question that these two are never going to be comfortable with or answer. So, I’m sure these two would like to have reason for people to wonder what they are doing and it is a way of saying “It’s none of your business” in a nice way.

Zac could very well stay at Vanessa’s most of the time but still have a little place to call his own. I believe he believes in old fashion values and he has always been protective of Vanessa who I’m sure he hates it when he hears things that insults her reputation. It is like the hotel rooms on their tours…they can own 12 houses but when they lay their heads at night is THEIR business.

Lastly for this post I would like to try to say this so people could get the importance of all this. I think it is time we allow these two privacy in the sense that we quit talking about their sex life or living arrangements. No matter what we say on these two subjects we can never prove it unless these two would share pictures or tell us which they are not going to do. Imagine what it would be like knowing that your most private doings were being discussed on the internet. That is why the paps hound them and gossip magazines write all kinds of stuff that isn’t true. It is because they know so many want to HEAR about them and these people make money off of these two. But they don’t care if they are intrusive or pass off false information.

We can look and admire pictures of them. We can say how in love they look or how they make us feel. We can discuss what we like about their fashion or what movie they are making, etc. BUT lets not jump to conclusions about their relationship because they are not OPENLY living together. Let’s not say how “disappointed” we are that they are not sharing the same address because we have no idea what they are doing behind the scenes and you know what? That is the way they are wanting it. They are just trying to live life as Vanessa said at the Teen Choice Awards.

BTW, the comment about living in different houses if they got married was an off the cuff joke. BUT on the other hand I read several months ago how Vanessa LIKED modern stuff. After the two of them have been together for over 3 years I doubt they have that many “complete” differences. Zac has always seemed very taken with Vanessa’s “style” which by the way is NOT so traditional when it comes to clothes.

1) I think Z&V heard about National Enquirer story and gave the designer consent to talk about their houses because Z&V knows that tabliods and nosy fans will jump over the story.
