OlderChristian Bale Drops F-Bomb 36 Times
Christian Bale dropped the F-bomb 36 times during his nearly 4-minute verbal lashing, according to Today show’s count.
The angry 35-year-old actor was exposed yesterday for screaming and shouting at Director of Photography Shane Hurlbut for ruining a scene by walking onto the set of Terminator Salvation.
“I want you off the set! You prick!” Bale yelled at Hurlbut. “No, don’t just be sorry! Think for one f—ing second! What the f— are you doing? Are you professional or not?”
Bruce Franklin, an assistant director and associate producer on the fourth Terminator film, tells E! News that Bale is a “consummate professional” and he was just having a bad day.
“If you are working in a very intense scene and someone takes you out of your groove…It was the most emotional scene in the movie,” said Franklin. “And for him to get stopped in the middle of it. He is very intensely involved in his character. He didn’t walk around like that all day long. It was just a moment and it passed.”

#22. We don’t know what ‘other’ actors do on set, because we don’t hear about it. Someone decided to post the video, that’s why we know about it now. Chris is an amazing actor — has been since he was a little boy in ‘Empire of the Sun’.

There’s no excuse for this four minutes of verbal abuse. It’s not the first time his temper has made news, and it won’t be the last unless he gets help. It’s cheaper for movie people to excuse it and do PR damage control than it is to get rid of him and reshoot with someone else.. But it may affect what he’s offered in the future, no matter how good an actor he is. Get help, Christian.
Too bad they felt the need to make all those excuses for him. Maybe a simple public apology from him for his verbal abuse would be better.

Im one of the biggest Bale fans, and thinks hes the most gifted out there in the past 13 years, along with Ed Norton..
BUT…. the guy has alot of pysch issues clearly. but that what makes him good.
1. He got bullied at school for being an actor
2. Moved around alots.
3. What other actor loses near death amounts of weight for a film? ( machinist) ?
HOWEVER….. you dont make someone feel that bad, ive listened to this 20 times now..he WAS going to actually punch this guy until he got stopped… YOu can put it down to a bad day, but all that hate is from somewhere else.! We all have our bad days…
In my line of work …life or death… ive seen doctors and nurses drop a few bombs in a similar fashion, but HIS WAS ridiculous…..

This was not a one time incident. He has a history of anger problems even as a youth. As for his talent, yeah sure he has real talent. So much talent that most people forgot he was even in The Dark Knight. The man is on a lucky gravy train. He should be grateful that he has a career instead of going off on people because of a mistake. He’s just too full of himself .

#27. I’m a fan but not a blind, deaf or brain dead one. If he’s wrong, he’s wrong! If he yelled at me that way I’d rip his ‘dingalong’ off and I would expect an apology on the spot. The thing is he would NEVER yell at me that way, because if I were a crew member I would have known better than to mess up a scene and (1) cost time (2) cost money. Batgirl? You couldn’t call me something else? Never liked her.
McG can handle his crew and he knew that the audio tape was going..
so he probably made the DA go and do that knowing that Christian
would get angry… NOW WE KNOW THAT THE SET IS A PUBLIC DOMAIN THAT THE PUBLIC CAN HEAR ANY AUDIO TAPES AND WHATEVER THEY WANT..
