OlderChristian Bale Drops F-Bomb 36 Times
Christian Bale dropped the F-bomb 36 times during his nearly 4-minute verbal lashing, according to Today show’s count.
The angry 35-year-old actor was exposed yesterday for screaming and shouting at Director of Photography Shane Hurlbut for ruining a scene by walking onto the set of Terminator Salvation.
“I want you off the set! You prick!” Bale yelled at Hurlbut. “No, don’t just be sorry! Think for one f—ing second! What the f— are you doing? Are you professional or not?”
Bruce Franklin, an assistant director and associate producer on the fourth Terminator film, tells E! News that Bale is a “consummate professional” and he was just having a bad day.
“If you are working in a very intense scene and someone takes you out of your groove…It was the most emotional scene in the movie,” said Franklin. “And for him to get stopped in the middle of it. He is very intensely involved in his character. He didn’t walk around like that all day long. It was just a moment and it passed.”

He must have had some issues before if they felt the need to record audio for insurance purposes. From what I understand, the DP did make a mistake, but his unprofessionalism pales in comparison to Bale. Saying a few words and then letting it go is one thing, but 4 minutes says to me that he has some serious anger issues.
l hate him. He looks like a miserable *******! Even his family presses charges against him. Why do people like him make it? lm confused? l hate you so get off the damn screen because l would not waste 1 dollar on watching you!
Of course someone from the film is going to come out and smooth it over. But I’m sorry, abusiveness is not excused because of a person’s situation. How many abused children have been victimized because daddy or mommy is having a bad, intense day? No, nobody was hurt here (sounds like it could have went that way, though), but his tirade was definitely over the top enough to raise eyebrows. This is in no way excusable, and for any impressionable, weak-minded person listening thinking it’s justified, it’s clearly setting a bad example.

this happend months ago…. And it happends on pretty much every movie set but its a don’t ask don’t tell kinda of thing. Why its being release almost a year after it happend is up to you to decide.

Bale is correct. THat is why they say quiet on the set while shooting. Sure its a special effects movie, but the terminator franchise have always had a strong emotional element to them as well. I can’t wait to see the movie!
The real problem is that he went on and on for 4 1/2 minutes. Now that is pathological. Who has enough energy to rant and rage x 4 1/2 minutes at a person who is barely responsive? I think he is a borderline personality disorder with HUGE entitlement issues. Can not stomach the PRICK anymore. He needs to get over himself.
Crabby, I agree. It’s correct that the guy screwed up. It’s NOT correct for Bale to get batshit about it. This is not normal behavior, and I think there are issues he needs to deal with. Explosive behavior like this is dangerous.

Ok I’ll take that - don’t even like Bale that much
but I know what DPs on film make - if you knew you’d faint knowing that a man who makes this much money was such a hack as to walk into a scene -
this is really about maintaining a standard of work
and also think Bale was right to vent - just went too long - should have just yelled two or three precise well worded sentences -

Some people act like this was the first time an actor “blew up” when there are much more incidents that were much worse like Alec Baldwin’s angry phone call or Russell Crowe’s (although he’s always been an a-hole) throwing a phone at a hotel staff member. I’m on Bale’s side on this. Yes he went too far with the cussing but this happened incident happened back in JULY! These types of blows up occur with A LOT of stars (more than you could imagine) because studio execs have their conversations tapped while on set (even the ones that are super private) because they’re “arfraid” that a Star of a certain film could walk off (quit) which is THE utterly most juvenile thing they could do and they have INSURANCE over it! Someone from the insurance company OBVIOUSLY leaked it which is really low since they should’ve kept it private in the first place.
Christian was filming an intense scene and he gets immersed into his work plus it was completely moronic of the DP to walked into the middle of the scene while they were filming.
Is it just me or did no one notice that halfway through CB had already calmed down and was asking people to continue filming but the DP guy was saying something in the background over and over to get him angry again…
We can’t really hear what he’s saying but somehow it gives the feeling that he is making excuses for his mistakes.
I don’t want to see his movie now. All I would be able to think about would be which scene it was where he went apesh*t.
Bale, I do not respect you. I don’t care if you think you’re some hotsh*t actor. You will get back what you give, man.
You need anger management, now. Or possibly Prozac. Get the help you need before you destroy your marriage and harm your (future) children, or have a heart attack or stroke.

Grow up people….what he did was take @*&%#$% control of a set that was not under control of the neutered director. G is a weak schmuck. Bale had to wake everyone the @#&$#% up by scaring up some professionalism. Nice to know someone on the set actually had some balls. ‘what’s the matter, you all lose yours?’
