OlderChristian Bale Drops F-Bomb 36 Times
Christian Bale dropped the F-bomb 36 times during his nearly 4-minute verbal lashing, according to Today show’s count.
The angry 35-year-old actor was exposed yesterday for screaming and shouting at Director of Photography Shane Hurlbut for ruining a scene by walking onto the set of Terminator Salvation.
“I want you off the set! You prick!” Bale yelled at Hurlbut. “No, don’t just be sorry! Think for one f—ing second! What the f— are you doing? Are you professional or not?”
Bruce Franklin, an assistant director and associate producer on the fourth Terminator film, tells E! News that Bale is a “consummate professional” and he was just having a bad day.
“If you are working in a very intense scene and someone takes you out of your groove…It was the most emotional scene in the movie,” said Franklin. “And for him to get stopped in the middle of it. He is very intensely involved in his character. He didn’t walk around like that all day long. It was just a moment and it passed.”

cari, perhaps if you had been the one on the receiving end of that angry tirade you would understand. Nobody has the RIGHT to talk to another person that way! There are plenty of talented actors who would never act like that, so do not try to make excuses for this psycho.
That sort of behavior is simply abusive. Bale needs professional help. I am sooo fed up with the level of angry rhetoric in the U.S. these days. It benefits no one. Bale and people of his ilk need to get help, find an appropriate outlet, whatever. Those who think this kind of verbal abuse is OK are the same women who are going to end up in battered women’s shelters one day.

Big deal. This happened in July, not yesterday. He was probably under a lot of stress trying to film this and promote The Dark Knight. I would be stressed too answering all the questions about Heath Ledger and the pressure if this movie is not a hit it will fall on his shoulders. He is still an amazing actor and I love that he is committed to his work. Everything I have ever seen him in has been great.
Its a big deal because its many incidents are just puzzling in together. I can imagine his coworkers,friends and family members if there’s a bit of argument going on. How scary.
How scary for his wife when they argue but hey 93% of statistics say many abused women stay with their husband.
Comeuppance does indeed happen when bad things are done by bad people.

they set Christian B up for humiliation before and after this confrontation. They are out to get him because they know he is so passionate and admittedly has a volatile temperament which is wonderful for a true talent because he cares a lot.
People in positions of power (director of photography) love to do this. I mean he does have a huge say in how a performer looks. Bale is riht to be worried and simultaneously stressed. Now if this is how he acted all the time or most of the time I would understand someone complaining. But if he did you still think he would be hired the way he is? Please. He is totally professional most of the time when stressful situations occur.

This guy is an ACTOR. Big f***ing deal. You are not finding a cure for cancer or fixing our economy. You are not that important. Besides didn’t you learn not to bite the hand that feeds you, this guy makes you look good not the other way around. Get over yourself!!

Christian Bale would be my last choice if I were getting ready to cast a film. Behavior like his leads to delays, cost overruns, and general discontent on the set. He is not irreplaceable, in fact, there are a dozen better actors who’d kill for the parts he gets.
Besides, doesn’t he get that audiences ARE judgmental about actor’s personal lives? Russell Crowe, Jude Law, Britney Spears, Sienna Miller…I could go on. The point is, movie-making is a business and if an actor ruins the film’s box-office by acting like a two-year-old, he can all too easily be replaced. Look sharp, Bale.

yeah, i agree, he probly has some issues to work out. hes just and actor and doesnt need to speak to anyone like that. but he been one of my favorite actors for a loooooong time. so im not gonna throw any bullshit at him. but he does have some issues if hes ranting for four and a half minutes
